What happens within humanity effects everyone on earth.

You are a self described socialist. You are educated you think that you are correct which is your single failing. We all have a certain amount of perspective and that is correct and true for us. Our perspective is not to be dictated to all as it does not work for all.

Socialism may work for some very well as long as the people involved have a compatible thought pattern.

Pure capitalism…same stuff….

blah blah blah….

It is easy for a few people with a larger perspective to see things and understand more however this creates a disparity with the majority of the populace who do not see with the same perspective….

…no matter how hard you may try to explain….

Really, you should read up on Denmark though. It's government serves the people. Free education, free healthcare... truly free healthcare, high wages and higher individual freedoms. People are really happy there.

Good for them!

So you want the US to be Denmark.

I didn't think you were for bigger government.

I'm not.

Did you not know that Bernie is a Democratic Socialist? Look at Denmark, Switzerland etc... for examples.

Or Venezuela or Cuba etc as examples.

All economic systems are the same in that not everyone will happy or compatible with it, why is it that you think Capitalism is freer than Socialism? The main thing about Democratic Socialism though is that it still employs a Capitalist economic system.

Oh you meant in a good way, we'll never Beez, but I'm advocating change, not stagnation.
Come on now get philosophical here.

If we're just waxing philosophic, then with a non-corrupt system, no corrupt politicians, no people abusing the system with an entitlement mentality. . . . socialism would be the way to go.

While we're at it, I'd like a unicorn that poo's gold.

His criticism of Netanyahu's speech to Congress, despite Netanyahu being between a rock and a hard place in that refusing Boehner's invitation would have disaffected The Republicans who have been Israel's largest supporters.

Yes the Republicans are more than eager to send our people off to die fighting Israels battles for them.

Netanyahu voiced Israel's position as their leader is obligated to. Sanders' struck me as unfair and pandering to the anti-Israeli crowd.

He just didn't like Benny using our congress as a political tool to score points in his reelection.

He has continued the class warfare by attacking 'billionaires' and the 'solutions' merely concentrate even more power to organizations rather than individuals. Unions, media, political action groups and, of course, the federal gov't.

So you think it's ok for these people to be able to buy our government? Also he has been attacking organizations.

Fast forward to today's announcement offering free university tuition, if elected.

If you want a strong nation you have to invest in it's youth. Other nations know this and that's why their people are coming over here and taking our jobs.

Any Republican candidate is a better option that anyone offered on the left.

I would love to see any of the GOP candidates even try to debate Bernie.

Same old, same old. Class warfare, even more freebies, standard left wing/socialist agenda to garner more power.

Same old whine go after the wealthy it's class warfare but when they wealthy is waging war on the poor and middle class it's just fine.

Those two examples come after nationwide revolutions.
Hardly comparable imo.

Yep, and when is the last time that they were the world's reserve currency?

When did they last invade another nation?

When did they bomb another nation?

lobby & pay to invade another nation?

See a pattern?

You also have to account for population differences. There is of course the nasty reality of limited resources as well. Not saying what you want is right or wrong. But we're talking a ton more people and with limited resources there is the problem that in order for someone to gain some one else must lose. There are no other options when dealing with limited resources.

The other issue we now have with 18 trillion debt is that interest payments must be made on that debt. The higher the debt the more interest payments the less resources in the budget for other things.

Were at a point where a delicate balance must be met, can't keep borrowing or interest payments kill us, can tax to a certain point until businesses make adjustments like out sourcing, layoffs, etc. Of course new taxes are stilled passed to customers and as wages are contracting price increases can hurt consumers. The less services they buy leads to another set of issues
Would free education be good. Sure. Something like this needs to be thought about long and hard and not made as an emotional decision because it sounds good. It's a noble goal but what are the unintended consequences of implementing it? Also with automation/robotics coming online we need to seriously look at changing courses in education to account for future jobs. Free or not a degree won't help you if your job is automated away.

Both did very well (Venezuela until Chavez died) considering very strong 'attacks' by the US to make them fail at every turn.

I wasn't aware that philosophical musings incorporated childish retorts such as your last statement.

Usually you'd follow on from the first paragraph with a realistic ideology of what needs to be changed, stretched, tweaked or left alone.

But pooing unicorns is funny I guess.

What have any of those things done for quality of life here in the US? What have they done to make us more secure? More free? Happier?

Nothing. Rather the opposite. Not sure what your point is...

Sanders is a socialist........

Im not sure why youre upset.......besides the fact hes a socialist......

hes admitted hes a socialist.......

His whole background and record shows that hes an avowed......devoted.....died in the wool .....socialist......

Im a staunch staunch conservative.........

I despise socialism........aspects I get.......but its not my idea of government.........

If Trump and Bernie are the last two standing.......

Im voting Bernie.......

I do NOT like his policies......but, hes honest, and forthright about them and he stands on his principles...

Id rather vote for a man who is true and has the courage of his convictions than a charlatan who has nothing to offer but platitutdes and lies......

That being said......Go Rand Paul..

Im and Bernie are the only hope for real change
