certain people do fit certain profiles.

the fbi has been profiling for years. so have the police.

cops get called to a crime scene. lady is found beaten, raped, and killed. ligature marks and such.
the profile starts.
white male. aged 30-50
it is what it is. profiling works.

you come across that crime scene and you are not going to waste your time looking for a 75 year old woman

The fallacy, and racism, is the implication that it is their blackness that makes them commit violent crimes. Are you willing to make that argument?

How would you know that without profiling them based on demographic alone first?

This reminds me of the show baitcar.... If they parked a car in a white neighborhood...... What a waste of police resources.. It would just sit there..Noone is going to steal it! They park it in the ghetto, it is gone in 60 seconds, profiling works. Statistics are what they are... Facts are facts.

Both Hashtags are stupid, as one is simply poking the other and the original one is divisive and is too self centered to fix the problem.

Police corruption and the corrupt government practices that allow for it is the problem. Bitching about crimes against black people by police alone will not fix this problem.

ok. and what point are you trying to make?
the point i was trying to make(pretty sure i made it) is profiling works.
the police and the feds have been using it for years.

thats just how it is.

if they crime scene is a drive by shooting theyre probably going to look for young black males
if the crime is a rape/murder theyre probably going to look for a 30-40 something white male

do you think i am wrong in saying that?

i have a question for all the PC people.

if you were on your own at say 1am would you be more comfortable/at ease in lets say bed stuy brooklyn or a west village/park avenue type neighborhood?

what is your answer and why?
