The Independent Police Complaints Commission is to investigate the claim that a child abuse claim was dropped after a threat was made to expose former Prime Minister Edward Heath as a child abuser.

"In addition to this allegation, the IPCC will examine whether Wiltshire Police subsequently took any steps to investigate these claims."
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: "Sir Edward Heath has been named in relation to offences concerning children.
"He lived in Salisbury for many years and we would like to hear from anyone who has any relevant information that may assist us in our inquiries or anyone who believes they may have been a victim.
"Some people may never have spoken out about the abuse they have suffered but we would urge them to please contact us and to not suffer in silence."

Serious accusations and perhaps an indication that this inquiry is being taken seiously and that no door is too high to receive the policemens knock

Like both Saville and Cyril Smith, Heath is now dead.

Justice if deserved will never be carried out.

This is true but I'm sure he had links to others who are still alive and perhaps still up to it until it started coming to light.
The investigation could also open up new lines of inquiry for cases they are already investigating.

This will come as no surprise to anyone who knows anything about the well known paedophile ring that has operated with impunity in the highest echelons of British society for a very long time now.

The exact details surrounding Ted Heath are pretty well known and they are of the most serious of nature - if true they are truly horrific - and it would be impossible for anyone to ever begin to defend.
Anyone with knowledge of his offences and who chose to either supress the details or turn a blind eye should be prosecuted.

Yet again, we see either a decaying or befuddled minor 'celebrity' or a deceased politician offered up to the public like a sacrificial lamb.

Yes, I agree that it is imperative that we reveal the true extent of the historical abuse and all those involved - including those complicit in the cover up - should be exposed and if possible punished, but I feel it is at least as equally important that as much resource and effort is put in to investigating and prosecuting those involved in such practices today.....if anyone believes that the ring is not still in operation today then they are either incredibly naïve or incredibly stupid.

This reaches into the very core and fabric of the upper echelons of UK power and society and those involved need rooting out, exposing and cutting out of society like the evil and amoral cancer they have always been.

You only hear about the dead ones they are willing to sacrifice in order to save themselves. It was widespread and the very worse thing was the people who used it as weapon and complied.
How could an idiot like Saville be so important. He had links to royalty, serious links and freindships. he belonged to a very important club. The club is not extinct, it has not disbanded. just got smarter.
The rumour mill in UK is rife with the fact there are thousands of childrens bodies going back a century or more buried. There are people that know this and it will never be disclosed.
it is just a rumour.

A sex crime against a child is murder.
And adults who murder children should always be judged
swiftly and permanently. As the lives they destroy further so
much the degradation of society long after the vicious have
departed. Already the pussy footing is at play because the dead
don't dance.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprized if this was a form of 'hazing' to get inducted into serious politics, that way they (MI5? Shadow Gov of some sort? Banking Cartel?) always have a bargaining chip against whoever is pulling the strings and can maintain a modicum of control.

Maybe. But it's funny how he always seems to be involved, one way or another, in every abuse scandal that happens. Tory leader, Welsh Secretary during the North Wales care homes scandal, persistent questions about his own sexual proclivities, resident of Dolphin Square, his sudden removal as Foreign Secretary ahead of an election campaign... I mean there are coincidences and there are coincidences.

I saw the news report, and it was pretty vague, in fact as much about the police in Wiltshire, or police in general at the time than the actual alleged abuse, that's not to say that it didn't happen, and I know that Heath's name came up years ago. IMO, there is a lot left unfinished. Janner's name came up years ago, there is a fecking heap of names that came up years ago, even the Cray's were in the mix. They are also gone, while Janner is alive amongst others, but Janner has become untouchable...as unfit, and for no other reason...unless someone can say otherwise.

In some ways, we can't even know if the current Wiltshire police already have something concrete in the bag in their mind/s, but need more to prove things in the form of a credible whistleblower/victim.
The BBC has been emasculated, I have no doubt about that, all the really 'In depth' stuff just isn't there any more, however the fingerprint is there somewhere.

and this

This is what it is all about!

It covers many countries in the developed world and goes far, far deeper than anyone will admit.

The CIA, MI6, Mossad, the KGB and many others lure many by targeting them in honey pot operations.

This is why the likes of MI5, MI6 and other like organisations protect these people. If the truth ever came out, you would soon discover that the intel agencies are up to their necks in the child sex trade.

Get enough politicians under your thumb and you can control entire countries.

As the above two posters, Freeborn and chewy have said, it is just the hangers on or the dead that they are willing to throw into the arena to satisfy the public outrage.

The rest are so well protected that only a civil war would bring them to justice.

The fact that the majority of named Westminster figures are now long passed makes this look even more suspicious. Especially when we have people like the disgraced lord Sewel implying that this is still ongoing by making statements such as:

I think there's all sorts of things going on. Not in a great way — not with women. I think the real problem is with you know, erm, boys?

Lets not forget this comment was made during the secret recording of him at an apartment in Dolphin Square in specific relation to whether he is the only politician using sex workers.

I find it strange that the media chose not to cover or investigate this aspect further rather than focusing on just the coc aine and prostitute use.

I've got a crazy idea:

Lets prioritise those who are still alive and have significant claims made against them first.. it's not like the dead are going anywhere!

Dolphin Square crew would be a good place to start...

Again we have problems in the US, the Franklin scandal and loan led to it, the finders , boys town, Michael Aquino, brownstone, etc. I agree with the person who said only the dead weight and dead get thrown around. Of course we have the lovely false memory society to try and say everything is wrong accusations. I also agree with whoever said it's all Intel agencies . But my guess is that rabbit hole doesn't stop there

This is simply lip service and deliberate damage avoidance because this enquiry (although utterly relevant and if there is anything left of Heath's estate to benefit his victims good) is not dealing with the activities of Westminster paedophiles operating today. Heath is dead - so what - but that's it isn't it, he can't now be prosecuted and bring the tories into disrepute. Better than that, those who hid his behaviour are probably either dead or senile.

The men we want are those who are still alive with assets to be taken and given to help their victims as well as those who conspired to protect them called to account - never mind the adverse publicity to our politics both parties are knee deep involved here and this needs to be attended to, so the victims and the public can rest assured that these men are not getting away with their despicable and predatory behaviour. You can't hide behind the idea that we can't deal with someone because they are essential to our government, no one is irreplaceable or in dispensable.

The delaying tactics are doing our parliament or the police for that matter any favours and are simply calling their honour into question.

Our parliament and police have no credibility left. Hillsborough, MPs behaviour, cover up after cover up. Are we really so stupid as to believe that most people in the corridors of power don't know what is going on. same at the BBC. We need the innocents ones who knew but are too scared. We as a country should be able to protect them, but we cant so they stay silent. They have too much power and all is lost. we will never get our freedoms back and this is what we need to wake up to. They can and will do what they want.

It has been revealed that three police forces are currently investigating allegation against Edward Heath , they are the Met Police , Jersey and Wiltshire Police.

The BBC understands the former prime minister is also among those being looked at as part of Operation Midland.
Operation Midland is examining claims that boys were abused by a group of powerful men from politics, the military and law enforcement agencies at locations across southern England and in London in the 1970s and 1980s.
It has focused on the Dolphin Square estate in Pimlico, south-west London.

Separately, the States of Jersey Police has confirmed Sir Edward forms part of Operation Whistle - its investigation into historical allegations of abuse in Jersey.
Some of the allegations within the overall investigation relate to abuse "within institutions or by people of public prominence", the Jersey force has said.
It includes 45 suspects - some of whom are dead or currently unidentified - at four institutions, and currently includes 13 "people of public prominence", the force's website says.

Out of those prominent people I wonder how many are in a position of prominence within the BBC itself.

Compliance is a crime.
