it's been doing this of and on but seems to be getting worse now.

It leaves me about 4 or 5 posts above the last reply so I have to scroll down.

Is this just me or a glitch of some sorts?

I just tried and it worked normally for me..... on a thread that I had not visited before.
So I tried threads that I have posted in previously.
Seems like it goes to the point where I had been when I last visited the particular thread.
If that is the case, it might be a handy feature.

Well, I just tried again, and what I said doesn't hold true.
Seems like there is some kind of glitch.

Its not every time for me but seems to be more often than not.

I logged out and trued a few links and it did not happen?

The page hangs for a second about halfway up and then seems to get lazy and stop short.

Just tried another link and this time it got the last post but only halfway through with ample room to fit on the page.

What browser are you using? Have you tried a different one to see?

Working fine on my end. Using FireFox.

Just a thought are you zoomed in on ATS?

I have a rarge monitor and sit quite far back so I am zoomed in to read easily?

I unzoomed and the problem dissapeared.

Looks like I have answered my own question!

Thank you very much for your help me.

Well, thanks for that, it appears you have solved it. I have to zoom out to the point that the letters that I am typing are exactly 1/16 of an inch high on my monitor.

This is what is called coming to a false conclusion based on what you observed.

Here's my observation. I first went into Firefox ESR 31.7.0 menu and selected view, zoom, reset, which reset any zoom to original size.

Next I went to this link:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I didn't get taken to that post, the link took me to two posts above it.

I closed that window and tried that link again, and the second time it took me directly to the link.

So if you changed zoom in between those trials you might incorrectly attribute it to the zoom change, but I changed nothing, so it might not have been the zoom change, it was just revisiting the same link that worked for me, changing nothing.

So yeah, it's a little glitchy.
