This is still breaking on Fox News right now... nothing online yet.

Apparently a reporter was filling out some paperwork and a cop in front of him drew and fired at an armed man running away.

The reporter saw a revolver on the ground next to the suspect.

Baltimore police shot a man Monday in the same area where massive riots broke out last week over the death of Freddie Gray.

It's unclear what prompted the shooting. A Fox News crew witnessed a young black male running from police before he was shot.

It's not known whether the unidentified man was armed. A gun was reportedly found nearby on a sidewalk.

A crowd quickly formed around the man, who was seen on a stretcher as he was being loaded into an ambulance. His condition is unknown.

Edit again:

The story is now that the police chased the guy but didn't shoot him and the suspect fell and his gun went off... way to go Faux News...

Now the Police are forming riot lines again and the POTUS is speaking on a split screen from NYC - I don't think POTUS has any idea about the shooting.

They filmed the man that was shot being put into the ambulance and he didn't look good...

why do cops keep shooting at people running away. All it does is shoot someone in the back, thus giving people yet another reason to turn on cops.

Edit to add: I see someone above said man was tazed not shot.

It seems, in this case, that the man was armed. Police have a duty to stop an armed assailant if they reasonably believe that he is a threat to others.

I can't link - sorry but a witness is live on FOX News right now. The witness said the victim/suspect was shot in the back by the Policeman. She is saying the victim/suspect did not have a gun. She was 20 to 30 feet away from the shooting.

A girl "witness" suggests the gun was planted by police !!

To cover their "assets".

Now the City needs 20,000 more police. Watch.

That sounds like a bad movie. Guns should not go off when they are dropped.

They do if they are assault ghost guns with 30 round clips of banana bullet rounds.

That blog link is going mad with all sorts of stuff now, includes a report that things don't look good.

This video is police being asked about the incident,

It's all pretty confused, you can see the people on the video have been peppered..the guy with sunglasses filming on his phone, is later followed by police and forced away from the scene along with a few others who are filming, told to go home in fact. All the while police are saying nobody was shot, elsewhere that a man with a gun was detained.
