wow your late. we discussed this. I never said it was true. Try reading the posts on the first page and the last two lines in the unedited opening post of the thread.

I wish I had more time to devote to this tonight. My brain hurts from trying to catch up on the thread and vet some of the new info in the few minutes I have left. Hopefully I can join back in the conversation in a meaningful way tomorrow with a less crowded head. I'm looking at the radar stuff here but some of it seems to be a little beyond me right now in my frazzled state. There are great points being raised on both sides but in the end it will probably just be another stalemate imo.

Interesting, with all the things stated about Climate Change, you would think that these Man Made Clouds that are NOT cirrus, as cirrus cannot be man made; would be at the very heart of sealing in all the rest of the emissions and greatly increasing all the problems we are seeing!!

When I do not get to see the sun I know a problem is happening.... somehow the scientific effect has you actually believing they are not even close to being a problem, but that is something to do with how you are being taught to look at things.

You are wrong, deal with these dam CONTRAILS first, and we will see a magnificent change.

The radiative forcing properties of persistent contrails and contrail induced cirrus have been studied for some time now. It's not emissions they trap, it's outgoing radiation and they trap a little more than they block

In fact Rosalind Peterson says NOTHING about "chemtrails" in hte video - she talks about geoengineering in an abstact future sense -

ROSALIND PETERSON, California President and Co-Founder, Agriculture Defense Coalition (ADC), focused her pre- sentation on the toxic gases being discharged into the atmosphere and how they influenced changing weather patterns . She mentioned weather modification programmes, which had no oversight, could alter micro-climates and modified growing seasons needed for pollination . She also discussed the idea of mitigating climate change through geo-engineering, which included putting chemicals into the atmosphere in order to reduce its negative impacts . However, such measures hampered crop production as it reduced the sunlight available for photosynthesis . She highlighted the impact of jet contrails on US crop production as these trapped heat by producing man-made clouds . NASA studies showed that part of the global warming problem could be attributed to this phenomenon as it caused increase in humidity as well as encouraged pest and fungus proliferation . Ms . Peterson
claimed NASA and the US Air Force used canisters of chemicals to experiment with the ionosphere repeatedly with no oversight . This increased pollution and affected drinking water purity, for example, water testing conducted by the State Department of Health in California and Arizona showed unusual traces of chemicals such as aluminium and barium . The use of aluminium in such experiments also caused the destructions of plants and trees in the region as they could not absorb water or necessary nutrients . Finally, she concluded by adding that increased jet fuel emissions released nitric acid into the atmosphere and depleted the ozone layer . Ms . Peterson believed it was time to concentrate on reducing pollution at its source and not invest in geo-engineering schemes, which could bring about yet more damage .

Why do we not have one scientific paper or analysis of a chemtrail after it was sprayed and still in the air?

I did not make any sort of claim and I did not defend the original material posted in the thread either.

I would not yet completely dismiss the possibility that to an extent chemtrails could exist. I also would not claim they exist either. I have had done some research on the topic in the past. I also can not add to the debate of if chemtrails exist or not. The only part on the topic I know of (that is already know to be true) is that contrails carry harmful emissions such as hundreds of tons of lead sprayed over the United States. I did not bother to bring that up because it does not add to the debate and it is off topic. I will review more posts in this thread at a more convenient time for me.

There is only two things I can add to the debate is, why are the contrails/chemtrails often found in a grid formation in the sky? Which may had already been discussed here in this debate.
And this video that may or may not had been mentioned here (and for all I know may had been debunked) that I found interesting.

Here, have a look at this video, which explains some of the basics of contrails, such as why there are sometimes patterns in the sky. Hint: it has something to do with the some 100.000 flights taking off each day and flying along some 50.000 routes.

Apparently proof isn't necessary to establish the existence of chemtrails any more. Belief will suffice.
