My first Avatar....funny or annoying?

I think it's funny! I like it. Besides, if you like it, it doesn't really matter what anybody else thinks.

I have to agree that the animated avatars are among the most annoying on ATS. That being said, it's a personal choice and you aren't here to please anyone.

The problem with Shatner is many folks today will not get the reference - more likely they will think that is the face he wore the night he killed his wife.

Do you. If you find it funny, stick with it. No idea what your avatar is, so I don't think it's particularly funny, but it's also not annoying.

The only time I owned a cat was when my parents took in a stray for a week. I'm not opposed, just highly allergic. Not a fan of the joker. Avatar just amuses me greatly (I still look at it and laugh at the expression), don't care what other people think, it's a way to find my post in a thread more quickly and it also just sort of stuck.

I'm annoyed by people that think .gifs are annoying.
