ya.

I'm like it's 2015 FFS!!!

It *feels* like a date we read about as kids, you know - "The Future".

Where is the world peace? Where are the cures? Where is my food pill? Flying cars? Holodeck? United Federation of Planets?

So, you see? No wonder we're pissed!

You forgot that every house should have a personal robot butler by now...

Peace

Jude, I have plenty to rant about.
The ex.
The job.
The rent.
The car insurance.
The freaking cold!

But, I have my health and a good woman, so instead I will just have a Mojito or 12.

Hi Jude. I'll let Crazy Ivan (who is not amused) deliver my rant.

I believe Ivan is hardly ever amused...

Only when a well-placed swipe draws blood.
He's actually really sweet and constantly purrs, but his countenance appears quite grumpy.

OK, here's my rant because -- it turns out -- it wasn't satisfying enough to let Ivan deliver it. Why, oh why in the name of all that's holy does my dog Joe feel the need to snack on "litter box crunchies" a.k.a. cat turds? I don't get it! Joe eats venison dog food at $60 per bag. We buy organic, grass-fed beef to mix in with it. His treats are probably better nutritionally than most of our snacks. So why, why, why does Joe covet the Fresh Step-encrusted Ivan bombs?

edit on 1/5/2015 by graceunderpressure because: My "u" key sticks, dammit!

Speaking on behalf of Crazy Ivan because Ivan can't speak for himself...

"Meow, grrr, ffft ffft."

Translated into human means:

"If you were fed nothing but dried kibbles all day, you too would not be amused."

Totally agree, but Crazy Ivan is hand-fed some really nice organic turkey and chicken every day. I think his grumpiness is more likely attributed to one of my friend's theories that he's an old, irascible man trapped in a cat's body. And, he's p_ssed about it.
I wish you could hear how he grunts and burps.

Maybe Joe doesn't want Ivan to get into trouble for leaving his poop out in the house ?

Look at it this way: That's one less Ivan bomb you have to clean up.

But seriously speaking, you might want to take Joe to the vet just to rule out any lack of nutrients that might be going on in his bloodstream. Sometimes dogs eat poop to try to replace nutrients they're lacking.

Same as to why some eat grass.

Great advice.

It's because it's the first Monday of the first full week of the New Year.

In addition to that, there's a full moon tonight.

It's always a conspiracy!

But...but... it was our vet that put Joe on a restricted diet [Grace bangs head on wall]. I will take him back to this vet and let Joe give the vet BIG KISSES!!!

Apparently, it's a common issue. "Dogs enjoy the taste..."
