Butterfly of Life, page 1

Here is a little something I wrote a while back. Please tell me what you think.

Once there was a shadow of a man with nothing.
Nothing to gain. Nothing to lose.

He was alone. There was nothing that could bring to life the shadow of a heart. His family had cast him aside, and he was a burned on friends. As a shadow he went through life, never being noticed. Even his Creator had forgotten him in his struggle. Walking into the sunlight was the only thought he had.

Good times came, good times went, but good things were never to be found. From side to side, good to bad, he found nothing that could bring him out of the land of shadows.

But then he found a friend. In this, he saw beauty. The heart of the butterfly made him alive. His heart started to beat, and blood turned warm with every flap of a wing from this flying beauty.

The days went on, every day bringing new hope to the shadow. Lifting him up from the ground, bringing to him something he never knew. A heart, filled with joy. A shadow he was no more. The butterfly swept him away into a world with hope and life.

But then , one day, he found that this flying form of life had flown away to some place far away.

Once again, there was a shadow of a man with nothing.
Nothing to gain. Nothing to lose.

Thanks Syx! I regret the fact that I did not write one today! A lot happened today, it kept me away from my pc!! BUT, I still have 2 hours left, maybe something can happen!! Wish me luck!
