I bookmarked it last night during the ATS outage. Is this related to what happened in Sweden?

Akamai attack monitoring: www.akamai.com...

It's currently showing the threat level from attacks at 76.54% above normal. It's been above 70% since yesterday. I've rarely seen it go over 50%, and even then, not for sustained periods like it is now.

Scroll through and look at the support and signals units assigned

An attack on this base would be symbolically and realistically damaging to the military due to the nature of the bases functions. Coms, supplies, intelligence... it's all there, under one roof, so to speak.

~cough~... thanks. OK I will now go outside and scream at the sky ......
But first I will brush up on my fishing skills...
Since it's the only natural ability I have that requires no electricity to feed me. ( yep just replied to 2 of your threads )
Keep up the good work.. it's valued .. and that also goes to everyone else!

Boeing also has a major IT center in St. Louis, as does Wal-Mart, Wells Fargo, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and US Postal Service.

I also find it interesting that Norse Corporation, the company behind the map in the OP, is located in St. Louis, Missouri.

St. Louis

101 South Hanley Road, Suite 1300
St. Louis, MO 63105
Phone: 314.480.6450

Could it be that they setup a honeypot, in order to lure attackers to their servers so they can gather information on them and the networks they are using?

China is not taking anymore crap, has emerged as a super power and is flexing its muscle.

LOL if it wasn't for American business pumping money in to China, and China buying government debt from us.

They would implode.

The true mark of a 'super power' is that we build countries.

This is a lot to digest..
1.. Heff. You did throw me off a bit.. but I got the Dick Durbin and Scott assuming the roll just this year.. so thanks for that.
2 . Skeptic. I was going with what went down in Ferguson ( and what will we be eating up in media next ) ..but now I'm rethinking that.. that's the almost original infrastructures of this nation.. Wells Fargo.. money/mail.. Wall Mart..is corporate and china mixed... Boeing ( that also helps why the attacks went to Seattle ) should be the bread and butter too along with GEOSPACE which china also is gaining up on..
But it's still about our lively hood as a nation...
Usually I can have a sense of humor and joke/laugh. But right now. This is the first since 9/11 and sandy hook... my brain is shutting down..
Right now about 6 million things are running through my head...
And all that's computing is.. Should have married and carried on the family name... and Keep Calm and C ...all that other mush..
Last night my best friend almost lost his business. As a modern escapist. All I wanted was to enjoy my new gaming system. It was taken down before I plugged it in.

So this this is how the Cyber Pearl Harbor starts...
A test run..
And my aversion started in 1979... programing numbers into a computer system ( you know the one. With just a green screen. And you had to tell it what to do ) my step dad made me do.
But noooo.. I wanted to be a firefighter/paramedic like my dad and save lives...
No one has time for that when the grid is wiped out and medicine and CPR is no good when the IT Guy saw it coming first.

Well I may not be signed in.. but I am always watching. So any info is good to have.

I read a book a few years back.
Don't quote me.
I think the title was WWIII. THE FIRST 6 Minutes..
It involved a cyber/space attack from china.
Illegal laser warfare into space.
Illegal satellite warfare. And a bunch of hot coffee drinking, Smoking air force tech specialist. Trying to watch it all go down on a jumbo screen in the war room.. they even threw in the secret war bird from Area 51 that went into space to track, intercept and destroy all the new space platform tech..
Good read..

Sorry Neo, I usually agree with you but on this point I do not. Not only does the United States of America NOT build countries, it fails at even building companies. Your point may have been valid in the past but now, we're just a fiat system, with the little incompetent wizard slowly becoming visible to the rest of the world. Our days of glory are gone and we're riding the tail of the long gone star.

Our only hope is to learn and rebuild. Considering the history of mankind and all the failures of every government ever exercised, I hold no expectation of avoiding yet another catastrophe.

No.. I never came close to that.
Just that Scott got the new command..
Can you link it more direct...
~ brewing coffee now ~
I'm up now..
So this is happening.. I'm doing required reading..
Lol..
I gotta know! It's crawling under my skin..

But if you are referring to the go to front door to answer... then back door.. repeat till it shuts down then yes.

Key factors you pointed out.
Shut it down..
Money
Electricity
Food
Medicine.

I'm lost at why people keep insisting on a currency such as gold.
I can't eat it or drink it.
What good is it in a post stoneracolypes world..
All I now is.
Water
Fish
And when possible start a fire and get shelter.

I spent a week in lake Tahoe being subjected to stuff that would make Rambo say.. that Billy goat had every right to puke that.
And that was basic survival Washoe county sheriff dept. 101.
Really basic.

You have my attention tonight..
Like I said.
My brain is shutting down on over thinking it.

Skeptic jogged my memory in code three driving.. look down the road.. don't think about the blinders strategically placed in front of you to blind you.

An opened question I have in general is how come throughout this interwebz crisis the major TV networks don't go dark? Telephones, satellites and radio all continue without_a_glitch.

They seem to be running the show as well.
The government needs funding.. and corporate seems to have a lot of it..
( my answer just now is saw dust flying out my butt at ludicrous warp speeds ) but its a popular one non the less.

I've got part of the answer to that question already, but I want to double check it and flesh it out before I provide an answer. part of it is the way packets ( digital information ) are routed. I also am thinking that the pipelines, even though in the came truncated cables - are actually carried on different fibers - but I want to double check it all and I'm too tired tonight to do so.
