More than a few breadcrumbs have been left on separate posts as to what this aircraft MIGHT be. Of course its not going to be splashed all over the papers or given an outing in daytime for all to see. Thats why its called a spy plane !! Look and learn is all I am going to say

I'll have to follow the breadcrumbs more then... I'm just very very ignorant of the newest aircraft tech. Zaph seems to be very educated on this matter, which is why I asked.. Of course, I don't expect classified info to be leaked, it just gets frustrating to average Joes wanting to know what the hell is going on!

It is kinda odd that the MSM is pinning this as "space plane" tech as well. I don't trust the MSM as far as I can throw them!

Pretty good idea for this one and earlier ones.

You just haven't been hanging out in the right places.

I'm out of the loop, it's quite obvious I haven't been in the right places... Care to direct me to the right place? Btw, I have floated around the mysterious craft in Cali thread, very interesting thread... but I suspect that isn't the place you are referring to?

There's that one, and a couple other similar threads. The answer is within this forum though.

Having recently gone through about 2 weeks of almost constant fireworks, and having listened to the recording on the DailyFail website, I think I can say with the utmost certainty that the sound recorded was fireworks!

Th sound didn't rise or fade like it would do with an approaching or receding source, with no pattern to it at all and at a constant volume. Unless of course the mythical craft was in a hover, using it's plasma (alien derived) stealth to remain invisible to both London ATC and visible observation!

As I wrote on another thread, there was a HUGE fireworks display in Croydon (14 miles away from me). The fireworks were very very loud, but I could see them from my house. I'm pretty sure this is the source of this whole thing!

And its just coincidence that New York heard a remarkably similar sound a couple hours later, in the middle of the afternoon?

If what are being reported in the UK as sonic booms are actually fireworks, then ... yeah.

I just find it incredible that the recording being circulated online by the Daily Mail was made half a mile away, and at the exact same time, as a huge fireworks display that I could clearly see and hear from over 10 miles away.

Ice in the north pole cracking up! we are screwed!

Just thought I'd stick that out there to add to the list.

That's a stretch. It would be one hell of an amazing coincidence.

All this speculation is based on reports and one widely circulated recording of booms. At the exact time the recording of the "sonic booms" was made, there was a huge fireworks display within half a mile, that could easily be heard 10 miles away.

If we're talking about coincidences, you have to admit, that is a big one!

I'm stating the facts I know, everyone else is speculating :-P

Well I agree pal, the sounds were firecrackers.

Here is why im scepticle on this:

We get the sounds from a mobile that MSM are saying are the same both sides of the pond.

Then someone posted a "fuel" the CIA bought ignited in a test tube which "popped" like a firecracker when ignited and burned green.

Suggestions that a "pop pop pop pop" and green flame are similar, I am sure "Pulse Engine" is thrown in to tie in the green test tube test, the fuel the cia purchased, a type of propulsion known (pulse).

Donuts on a rope? Pop Pop Pop.

So it all fits nicely except recent Green Meteor trail which have also been tantalised as "The Green Lady" is neither a pop pop pop or donuts on a rope.

SO we have several different posters who have seen things similar, but which are different.

I dont know anything about this green #, but I would suggest that a pulse type engine isnt very efficient in atmosphere. Those gaps between Donuts are not efficient.

Anyway, love you all.

The PDE hypothesis has just been thrown in there by someone who doesn't really know much about aircrafts, or worse, by someone who's deliberately trying to muddy the waters.

The Green Lady is no PDE, nor were the aircrafts that made the skyquakes in CA back in the days.

The sounds many have heard are no sonic booms either.

If i were to have my say on the subject i suspect something may have gone wrong with the Green Lady, like a slight leak of diborane (and that's why i posted the video of the ignited diborane crackling noises) while on a flight back to the US. The estimated speed achieved in her flight standing to the accounts from both sides of the pond and the absence of "green meteor" sightnings, may indicate that she wasn't able to go from a certain phase of her flight envelope to another (faster) one.

I suspect we won't hear back from her for some weeks at least, or a month or two at longest.

But hey, all of this is just speculation, so you should take it with a truck load of salt.

I was lucky enough to hear the sounds recorded on the cellphone ( in the UK 200 miles north of Croydon) and I would echo those saying not conventional sonic booms.

Without any evidence beyond gut feeling- a description of something with a high energy output going wrong would tick more boxes for me than a fireworks display, fracking or weather phenomenon.

A Spy Plane?

Why would you need a Spy Plane travelling at that speed?

I don't believe it to be a Spy Plane but I reckon it was an Aircraft of somekind although the tremors came from underneath!

Well if I planned to deploy a fast mover across a populated area and knew that the boom would attract attention, I would be glad for a huge fireworks display at the same time
Wouldn't You ? .. Just saying..

Or, you know, you could just not fly it over one of the most populated areas of Europe.

Except of course for the minor fact that you need tankers.
