JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMOX) – Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon signed an executive order activating the Missouri National Guard on Monday afternoon.

According to a news release, the role of the National Guard is to “…support law enforcement during any period of unrest that might occur following the grand jury’s decision concerning the investigation into the death of Michael Brown.”

Would they be getting this ready if they did not know they were not going to indict Wilson?? Seems like they are way over doing the preparations for a just in case scenario...

Does anyone know when they will announce the verdict? Or did they already announce it, I have been off the grid for a few days on an island without TV or internet....I checked the news today on my phone but haven't seen much about it.
