I am concerned about this, and about its ability to live on synthetic materials for longer than previously believed.

Relax if you can, get away from the computer and just do your preps. I know that everyone handles fear in their own way but one way to release that fear is to do all you can based on the information you have and then walk on with awareness.

It has a calming affect to know you have done all you can to prepare. Then if nothing happens you will save $$$ in the long run.

I also knew of unreported cases of people under observation where i am, but they all came back negative...and we were told on local news after the fact....Thank you for the input while it may make a difference..

Last time I checked A massive Ebola outbreak did happen in Africa. You know they are people like you and I, even if it's hard to believe sometime because they get treated as if they are worth less and the world would rather invest Billions in Space Exploration(Which can be fascinating and cool at times) than to invest in the 3rd world. But it's just not right,

This world is so horribly out of balance! People are so #ing greedy and cocky in general and it really annoys me.

So you are the liar here, a Massive outbreak DID happen, Cases in other countries have been reported! This is not Aids, No sex or blood is needed to get the infection, it's scary how easy it is.

I beg to differ... You are speaking to someone whose concerns and opinions come from a foundation of maturity and common sense!

A lifelong interest in magic/illusion has led me to have a very critical (I hope not cynical) view of life. Let me give you one short example:

During the peak of a certain modern day magician's career, the climax of his TV special was a straightjacket escape done while hanging from a burning rope over sharpened bamboo stakes. My SIL, at the time, challenged me to pick the escape/illusion apart.

I won't go through all of what I had to say, the beginning of the act should suffice...

The performer in question was NOT Houdini and he'd obviously had plenty of safeguards in place because the show was taped and there'd been nothing in the news about his tragic demise.

To someone with a critical eye, the illusion began immediately. Houdini actually put himself in situations that could have been fatal. This performer was put into His straightjacket by two of His female assistants, one of whom was standing immediately to his left and obscured the view of him placing his arms into the jacket. He genuinely did put his right arm into the jacket, but the assistant to his left lifted the left arm of the jacket and passed it under first.

Guess which hand dramatically appeared in his lower back in just the nick of time? His left hand! The left arm was full of padding the whole time. That not only gave him the free hand needed to start stage two of the escape, but by having this all done by people in on the illusion he had much more slack on his right arm than Houdini would have ever had.

Make no mistake. We are being played. Sadly though, this isn't entertainment, this is for all the marbles. There will soon be so many balls in the air that it may make no difference whether or not anyone has been able to keep count. The real show may not even be on the stage...

There is a outbreak in Africa and the last time I checked they were in fact human, how long have you been under that rock?
