I just saw a newsflash on the CBS network that the U.S. seems to have attacked ISIS targets in Syria with airstrikes.

Been trying to find a news source online reporting this but no luck so far.

If this is true there might be repercussions against the U.S. since amongst others Syria warned the U.S. not to attack any ISIS targets within Syria.

I am hoping that the CBS newsflash is mistaken.

Like I said in another thread. If Syria is going to harbor them, then go there and bomb them.

Yeah I should have been recruited by the CIA, I'm far more reliable in making predictions than Edgar Casey.

Like an old book...

Eta. In light of the coalition of the willing falling through and Germany's public rebuke, I'm assuming these air strikes wail stave off a financial collapse for what? Four to five months or weeks? *shrugs* E for effort I suppose.

If you think thats going to work out you should probably see how Libya is doing after these airstrikes. Not the airstrikes nor ground forces are going to stop the ISIS.

I am sure you are going to side with McCain.

I'm pretty sure if we used all our military power we would wipe isis, or whatever you want to call them, out in about a week. The only reason we get bogged down is by fighting half assed. Yes, I will side with McCain, why wouldn't I? He's a war hero and knows what he's talking about. Obama backed off and now this got way out of hand.

We are getting newscasts on CNN in Europe just now.

edition.cnn.com...

edition.cnn.com...

So all ISIS has to do is go and run to the buildings that the USA wants to bomb, and those buildings get flattened.

Can I ask you who you are calling a "typical NeoCon vomit bag"? I hope you're referring to McCain, that's your right, but, if you're referring to myself, then you have a lot of growing up to do.

E2A: I see you stand with ISIS and countries that harbor them. Says a lot about you.

I was watching the nightly NBC news start up with a special report after they just got the confirmation, on the airstrikes. Cruise missiles, B2s, ect. The whole democracy building toolkit. Didn't take long for Obama to get this one rolling. No arming and training the rebels then, I'm guessing?

We don't need to arm and train any more rebels. That's how it bites us in the ass. Also, every time we try that route, other say "Oh, looky, they're setting up their next target by arming them".

We spend enough money to do this on our own and not give away anything to untrained rebels who drop their guns and run at the first sign of being over powered.

They won't be ready for another year.
Just going to bomb until then, apparently.
