The day after the night before.
Metallica after all the questions and criticisms of a metal band headlining Glastonbury made the place their own last night and rubbed Glastonbury mud in the faces of those who questioned the decision to give them the slot.

For those who have seen Metallica live there was no question , no doubt they would rule the day.

Set list:
1. Creeping Death
2. For Whom the Bell Tolls
3. Wherever I May Roam
4. Sad but True
5. Fade to Black
6. Cyanide
7. The Unforgiven
8. The Memory Remains
9. One
10. Master of Puppets
11. Nothing Else Matters
12. Enter Sandman
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
13. Whiskey in the Jar
14. Seek & Destroy

Hype comes and goes , quality lives forever

I was overjoyed to see James Hetfield (or however his name is spelled, who really cares anyway) on a Guitar Center commercial the other day.
Usually when personalities are doing commercials, it means they are broke and in need of a new source of income.
So for a change, it was good to see the napster traitor, maybe lars will be doing depends commercials soon.

Saw them a few times in the 90's and early 2000's but I think Reading in '97 may have been my favourite.

I've seen them a couple of times at Donington park Monsters of Rock and they kicked ass both times , they had a lot to prove with this show but I think it became clear pretty early on the crowd were with them and as expected they provided a worthy (
) headline show , the music talked and the BS walked.
