How can Iraq not have wmd then have WMD then in 2009 be 'required' to dispose of them?

Let me echo Neo: WHAT?

First possibility: They are covering up where ISIS got the chemical weapons, and pre-empting the news in case they use them. ISIS got a lot of weapons from US intelligence, directly or indirectly, funneling them to Syria. The Syrian rebel groups used chemical weapons and tried to frame the Syrian government. Now ISIS has chemical weapons, and they got them from Saddam Houssein's stockpile, which didn't exist (probably), and was sitting in Iraq for the last decade of US occupation undisturbed. I don't buy it.

Second possibility: This is WMD 2.0. They are hellbent on getting into a full on war in Syria, and this may be staged as their "in".

Because they are lying through their teeth to fabricate a reason to get the war machine rolling again.

Was it Westley Clark that said "when the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem has to look like a nail" ? Somebody said that.

Something has the US government (more likely the banking cartels that employ the USG) spooked to the point of desperation.

So nobody really knows what was in those bunkers for all we know they could have been the CW's that Rumsfeld sold to Hussein. Now the question is why did Bush and his cronies not destroy these chemical plants before he signed the paperwork that made us cut and run from Iraq?
