I've been watching some classic martial arts movies for the past little while... and it made me wonder...

I have my favorite Martial Arts movies... I would like to see some of the communities fav's

Now I know most people will automatically point to enter the dragon, or anything with Bruce Lee, which is all well and good...

Those are not my style of movie though... I prefer a bit of humour with my Ninjas

My personal Favorite Martial Arts movie has and always will be "The legend of Drunken Master"

Jackie Chan rules... with a mix of comedy and amazing talent he has always been king of the martial arts movie in my opinion...

Another one of my personal favorite flicks has got to be "Kung Fu Hustle"

A very funny movie, with some decent special effects considering its 10 years old... I always get a good laugh from it

How about you?

DO you have a favorite Martial Arts movie... a flick that just blows your mind when you watch it?

Show me!

Geez, you already nailed it: Kung Fu Hustle is indeed the greatest Kung Fu movie ever made.

If I had to choose something other than KFH, I guess it would be...

The 36th Chamber of Shaolin

Waaaa!

Ip Man is one of my favorites.

Idk why I can't get embedding to work. Ip Man 1 vs 10

Ip Man is the guy who trained Bruce Lee early on!

For me, anything that has Shin'ichi Chiba, AKA 'Sonny Chiba' in it is probably one of the best there ever was. There was actually a story line, and one a moderately sober person could follow. Shin'ichi was amazing.

This isn't necessarily my favorite, but it's the best one I've seen in a while, that'd be Man of Tai Chi.

I like Shaolin vs Lama

www.youtube.com...

I also am a big fan of Jackie Chan. It's hard to say what's the best Martial Arts movies of all time but the movies besides my first pick are:

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

www.youtube.com...

Of course, there are lots of other movies in this list but these come to mind first.

Havent watched a movie in ages ..
But would go with the kurasawa original seven samurai or yojimbo ..

Cant recall the name of them now but there were a few of the old hong kong gong fu flicks that were good too ..

IP Man already been mentioned but my favorite would have to be Jet Li. Check out some of his best movies if you all haven't seen them already. Lot's of action.

Fearless
The One
Unleashed
Kiss of the Dragon
Romeo Must Die

Bruce Lee is my favorite Martial Artist of all time though. "The less effort, the faster and more powerful you will be" - Bruce Lee.

ONG BAK. All of them
UNLEASHED (not an actual fighting movie but kick ass)
Blood sport(s) (van damme only)
Only The Strong (capoeira)
All Bruce Lee movies.
And I think i'd consider "The Expendables" a fighting movie. 1 and 2
