"Chemtrails" Don't Exist and Idiots Are Really Easy to Fool

This was the headline today in an article on popular website Gawker.

No matter how much you try to argue with the chemtrail believers, it won't work. A child will steadfastly believe in Santa Claus until he realizes that Santa's handwriting is the same as his mom's.

A quick clip from the story makes Chem trailers out to be nut jobs that are just making this out to be a big conspiracy strictly for profit. (Climate Change anyone)

I thought being a 9-11 truther was hard. Trying to tell people about how those clouds in the sky aren't natural is becoming even harder!

contrails aren't naturally generated - but once they are generated they spread and/or persist (or not) due to atmospheric physics that are completely natural.

I'm not sure there are significant profits to be made from chemtrails alone - but many sites punting them also punt other conspiracies and advertise various "alternative" "remedies", books, DVD's etc - sometimes their "own brand".

There's definitely money to be made from the wider conspiracy market - I think the trick is to appeal to as many CT's as possible, and don't limit yourself to just one little corner.

Contrails do not go every which way and there is no debate on what one is we see them everyday coming from ordinary planes. I can assure you many CT conspirators are not in it for the money that is not my point. I am just somewhat baffled how this writer in the article is comparing something we can see with our own eyes to Santa Claus..

Poor Shep couldn't even be straight when he outright demanded and stated for the world that it was so... Gawker kinda blew itself on my credibility meter with that one, honestly. It doesn't set them up in my mind as a resource for this one..but that's just me.

I'm not sure I understand your point. You (apparently) accept chemtrails as real, fairly common, and potentially dangerous. If I'm wrong, please correct me. The Gawker article says believers are clearly wrong, and probably push those beliefs to sell conspiracy books to believers.

There is no more Santa Claus. My dogs caught some weird guy coming down the chimney and tore him to pieces. I have seen chemtrails and observed the planes laying them through a telescope. They were not commercial airliners. They were unmarked and appeared to be unpainted 747's. Based on what I've gathered, I believe it is a classified weather modification project.

I don't know what to think about chemtrails anymore. I was a believer but in the past year I've noticed a drop in them in NEPA. I'm starting to realize more now then I did when I discovered the chemtrail conspiracy, but it seems to unlikely. What I did notice was when they were spraying back in 2012, bad year for them, was they always were in front of the sun.

1) They were spraying in front of the Sun because most people don't look towards the Sun, and it wouldn't be as obvious.

2) They are spraying in front of the Sun to protect the atmosphere somehow.

3) When an airliner flies up near the Sun, it causes the contrails from water vapor because the conditions allow them to form.

I'm no Scientist but these are my most logical theories. They aren't trying to poison us, we all breathe the same air. Or do they have an immunity to it that we don't

So yes I dont agree that this article is making CT conspirators out to be looney's when there's something clearly unnatural that isn't contrails showing up there.


@ SixX18 I dont know the real motive yet either. But I do know that it's causing it too snow in weird places with some kind of fake snow. (Whether that be HAARP or CT's I dont know also)

You do realise that in front of the sun for you is not in front of the sun for just about everyone else, right?

For someone a hundred kilometres away, they are not in front of the sun.

I wish I could ask the writer of this Gawker article if he's ever heard of HAARP and ask him what he thinks that's used for

You're seeing contrails, unless you can provide what no other chemtrailer can provide, samples directly from the trail...

And don't say it can't be done, members here have shown that it can.
The aircraft to do it exists and it's been shown that some chemtrailers, like Michael J. Murphy had the finances to do it as well.

As for the fake snow, that's well and truly debunked, the Gawker article may go a bit far in calling chemtrail believers idiots, but it's very apparent chemtrail believers have no critical thinking skills.

That wasn't fake snow. I don't know where you are from, but we used to get tons of snow every winter when I was a kid in the 90s. I feel like it is happening in strange places however.

Those people on youtube, like the lady from Atlanta, have no clue what they are talking about when it comes to snow. To back that up; they didn't grow up in it for 26 years.

The smell, that is the fumes from the lighters. In this video she had a long lighter, such as for lighting candles, and they put off a lot of suet (spelling?), which causes it to look like it is burning black. The moisture was being soaked into the ball of snow turning it into slush. Simple high school physics. Oh, and maybe some of the snow was evaporating as well.

Trust me when I say, the snow melted, and we got tons of water from it, when the Sun came out. Even had some flooding, so it can't be fake snow, or that was all fake water. Can they seed the atmosphere to cause snow to form, sure. I don't know if they did that, I feel like the Earth is just getting normal again, in it's ever changing ways.

This is true, I didn't go into detail. Flying over the portion of the atmosphere that needs covered basically.

BTW I'm not a believer anymore. Skeptical? Yes. Common sense? I have that too.

Well in my mind, the portion of atmosphere is all of it, and they clearly aren't covering all of the sky, despite what some might have you believe. I for one never get them overhead.

i live in Sydney Australia
i have been watching "chemtrails" and "contrails" for a while now
you see a plane at cruising altitude (flightradar24) producing a "contrail" that goes for about 10-15 lengths behind the plane.
now when its a "chemtrail" the line will always start as soon as it hits the populated areas of Sydney from the central coast down to Wollongong (north to south)and from the blue mountains to botany bay(west to east)
and you get the good days where a nice grid appears.and sometimes a beautiful half green half fluro red/pink cloud
the "chemtrails"expand over the course of the day and by 2pm there is a nice big ring of cloud only covering the Sydney population.kinda looks like independence day just white and ugly.
way to many pictures on my isheephone of chemtrails.
also operating out of Sydney are a couple of old united 737's and they are not the 777-200
now they are doing flight from Melbourne to Sydney
yet I have been unable to find any website to book a ticket ? they list the flight number which only gives me Sydney to lax.
why would united be operating in Australia , internationally yeah sure but domestic?

and if chemtrails are fake why oh why is it necessary to put them in KIDS ANIMATED MOVIES

i cant watch a animated movie any more I miss the movie and just watch the movie sky
the Simpsons cracked onto it big time I just need to find the episode numbers and seasons and ill post them.

They say they only need to cover 1%, or maybe it's get temps to drop 1%? Not sure, read that somewhere in a science magazine. I just don't think they are doing it, maybe they tried, or did at one point. All I know is I love cars, and all cars make condensation in the exhaust at certain temps, and a certain humidity, normally when it is cold, as it is at 30,000ft.
