Yeah, that would be the mother of all emergencies.

What evidence?

Both flight locator beacons were turned off ... manually ... at separate times.
Then the plane went into flying maneuvers to avoid radar.
Obviously the pilot or copilot did that.

How can they prove this? If this was planned in advance this could have all been done remotely and made to look like it was done manually.

Can you show that the flight locators, which were turned off individually within a minute or so of each other, were both turned off remotely instead of in the cabin? Can you show that they can be? Common sense says they were turned off by human hands at the scene. Common sense says the pilot and/or co-pilot were most likely the ones to do it.

The plane wasn't stolen by the Americans.
The plane wasn't stolen by the Malaysian Gov't.
(my god, they have shown themselves to be inept fools with all this.

I get that this is a conspiracy site and all ... but a little common sense would be in order.

That's mostly speculation by people. No one knows how the equipment stopped working. Can we really trust the Malaysia radar data and do we really know if other countries did or didn't see a plane or were even watching. I think too much credit is being given for skills and quality of work.

I'll just start with the obvious thing here...... who can just leisurely fit an iPhone up their butt??? And do so inconspicuously at that???

People smuggle smartphones into jails, probably not done very "leisurely" though. Prison wallets are surprisingly versatile. Last time I was behind the walls a guy had a cell phone and he was pretty popular because of it. I never talked on said butt-phone. In the event it was confiscated I didn't want any numbers of people I knew on it.

We all know Obama himself jacked that plane and will be using it as a drone to assassinate gun owners. No other theory is even plausible.

@FlyersFan - Why did the two pilots do it is the question id like to know. Was it done on a whim? There has to be someone behind them doing this.

Maybe related ... maybe not ...

Eleven terrorists with links to Al Qaeda have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the disappearance of MH370

*that's the headline ... I didn't make it up.

It's not the serious people with serious backgrounds to form opinions which may just turn out to be right. One of the examples that comes to mind was CNN for where I'd first heard media carry someone suggesting a 'black hole' took it. Umm.. I think that's when it went downright tabloid.

I hope that weird side of things doesn't obscure finding what really did happen to it. Whatever it turns out to be

Maybe, just maybe they have a point there. No, I'm not talking about a black hole per se, just the remarking on it.
the fate of MH370 is all speculative right up to now, it's like a football match gone bad, with people kicking around a ball, just to see if it reaches goal.
This incident is the first time I have seen conspiracy theorists, serious scientists who are not on the scene, they are practically all, in the same boat as far as the Malaysian authorities are concerned. While 9/11 had all the same ingredients, it was all the conspiracy theorists who were told, not asked, to shut up By G.W. Bush who then, bit his lip on "Another con...." over Boston's bombings, while talking in the positive,

For sure though, no matter where the plane is, com's and transponder were turned off. IMHO, that is a big heads up, no matter what the experts say about controlling the plane first, there was no Mayday like this in the immediate, (video and conversion are simultaneous) So much for the expert's opinion Et Al, it just muddy's the waters

Now the conspiracy boyo's,

CNN has the lowest cable ratings here in the US......all their stupid BREAKING NEWS STORIES Lke 102 years a go the Titanic Sunk!

CNN and FOX are in competition to see who can obsess on, and drag out their "pet" stories the longest. For CNN, it's flight MH370. For FOX, it's BENGHAZI.

I think the problem I am really coming to have and I've been hearing others in RL have much sooner than this is that CNN once was a news organization which folks like I respected. It's all my personal opinion, of course, but there was a time where CNN Headline was running in the background of both a TV at home, when I was here, and often Satellite Radio while on the truck. Hard news, 3-4 minute blurps, and a general recap of whats up with live humans in a live studio to hit a real physical interrupt if a breaking event happened. Now it's Newstainment with as much or more pre-recorded as anything live to matter.

CNN and a few others used to value something like corroboration and due diligence to see if a story had any basis. That came before bringing every hair brained, crack pot theory across their airwaves, under their name, with the same breathless reporting and credibility as the REAL news reports with actual hard news that has support.

It's fine by me if CNN is looking to be Hard Copy and Inside Edition rolled into a topical current events format....but I do miss what they once represented as a News organization. They were really useful at one time, IMO. That time seems to be passing, if it hasn't already.

So an electrical problem on the plane can't turn equipment off huh? The only possible way it happened was the pilots did it, right?

There is absolutely no way to tell how they were turned off from the ground. The only way to tell is from the CVR/FDR recording. All they know on the ground is that they switched off.

I already get what you are saying, but what about the spooks = control. They seem to be controlling Malaysia airlines as bad as that gets for the airline, where does control stop?

The sad truth is that if the plane is still intact, the occupants are all dead either way. I'm guessing either an incinerating cremation, or a plastic barrel Walter White special.

If our corporate overlords can murder thousands of people on 9.11. and subsequently millions more afterward in senseless wars on boogeymen, then they wouldn't think twice about a couple hundred people on a plane. Been there, murdered that.

In order to remote fly and or turn off anything is with much planning.
The aircraft is not set up "built in" with this ability...period.
Yes I know for a fact because I work on them every day.
The B777 is a awesome piece of equipment but not able to do what you suggest without much, much modification going into it.
Yes it has auto pilot, but the ground can NOT change its course or alt.

The FDR cannot be turned off from the ground, unless as I have said equip was put in place prior to flight.
This would have been notice by all maintenance personal readying the plane for flight and the flight crew would have seen this for sure as it would have been in some ways in the cockpit.

This was planned I am sure and the plane did not crash, we would have found something by now.....
SO, what did happen and why/what was the cargo besides battery's and fruit......

CNN is not below reporting stuff like this without any verification and making damn fools out of them selves and destroying the families of the people on the flight with false hope, this sounds really out there.

That being said, its just as hard to believe that a plane with all the technology in the world today just disappears without a trace.

If who ever were going to go to this extent to cover up something then why not put a plane with bodies at the bottom of the ocean to be found after the bodies had decomposed to far to retrieve.

Okay I am going to approach this "debunk" in an utterly unique way.

If you believe this story is true I would like to issue a personal challenge, just to make a point.

I will only believe the story has a shred of truth is you (or anyone else on ATS) posts a picture of you keistering an I-phone 5. Not so much that I want to see such a picture but as it happens I patently believe that only a total freak has one chance in ten of successfully stashing a phone in such a manner.

Think about it...... Someone on the plane took a moment to stuff an I-phone........... Did he have KY lube in his carry on?

This story is so full of poo that not even an keistered I-phone will come out as full of poo.....

I work in a prison and I can say beyond all certainty the Iphone 5 could be kiestered w/o a problem...

I have my doubts also. Reading your link the story is bereft of ANY evidence. It is the fantasized rantings of a girlfriend of a passenger. I would love to see the evidence of military escort she so confidently alludes to.
Nope just crazy rantings that CNN is only too happy to televise these days.

When people like this guy, start demanding "evidence" in a case as viral as the missing malaysian airliner. It is evidence of hidden guilt, by the individual in question.

In a case like the malaysian airliner, no stone should be left unearthed in the search for any explanation to it's disappearance.

A plane does not disappear on radar ... period. Saying that, is lying into the face of the people ... which makes people like the above, suspect. The reality of the case is as follows, the airbase Garcia should be literally raided by an international body, to look seriously at the issue whether the US didn't really shoot it down, out of paranoia after 911. Having gone on a frency and started wars all over the world, and murdered millions of people ... because people allegedly hijacked planes in the US, in 2001, with only allegations as proof to who did it. It is more than just likely, that any US forces would act out of sheer paranoia and shoot anything in sight, if thought to be suspicious.

Live with it.
