Russian Jet Provokes U.S. Military Naval Ship

The USA is proving Russian by having a ship in the area and nevermind the cock and ball story about protecting Turkey.

Russian just gave a polite warning and in that part of the world the ship is a sitting duck for the advance missile that Russia has so that kind of shows how much respect the US Government have for those aboard.

Being logical Russia can only allow the USA so close to it's borders before it is forced to fire first but too many americans are to brain washed and would be calling for a strike if a Russian ship played around off the coast of the USA and the same people will be saying that Russia is provoking a reaction when it protects itself.

Stop the USA poking its nose in all over the world and the world would be a safer place.

If there were Russian warships in the gulf of Mexico, I guarantee you our jets would do the same thing. Its silly to expect Russia not to send planes to check us out when we have warships that close to their territory.

Well yes and the USA would sent jets out too but now we hear that the USA is all upset, its an act of war blur.... blur ... blur ...

The act of war was sanctions on Russia and sending Guns, Graystone and money to Terrorists in the Ukraine so lets not forget who stated this war in Europe and understand why the people on the streets of Europe are asking for the USA to keep its nose out of it and go home.

Who said it was an act of war add the US was upset? The media? Who gives a damn what they say. I guarantee they're about the only ones upset by this besides people on the internet. Russia has been playing this game continuously, with the exception of about ten years when they didn't have the money to for forty plus years.

So Russia has the right to do anything they want and seize territory wherever they want to? And somehow it's all the US' fault once again.

Russia has not seize any territory or fired any shoots apart from in Georgia after the west last little invasion plan got stopped.

Now the USA on the other hand after the 9/11 flase flag has seized land all over the place, killed millions and none of it has done any good.

Russian did not start the trouble in the Ukraine but I suspect they will finish it and I hope they hang the political leaders who came to power at the point of a gun, this the unelected government gets from the USA who always thinks that might is right and the Kiev government are killing pro russians like hostage takers to force the isue.

The media told you that no one in the Ukraine liked Russia and now you can see it's lies and no one from the EU tells you that people on the streets of Europe don't want this Mafia style american protection so don't be too shocked when you see anti US protests on the streets of europe because once again you have been lied too.

If the US wants a full scale apocalyptic war with, possibly the toughest, most determined people on the planet, they are going the right way.....Russia is not Iraq, Afghanistan or Libya.

In WWII the Soviet Union absorbed over 20 million casualties compared to the 400-450 thousand suffered by America or Britain.....So don't ever imagine these people will roll over in fear of the mighty west!

So what's it to be? A more reasonable attitude to the Russians (ie: stop trying to back them into a geopolitical corner).....Or back to the stone age for all of us?

Russia isn't Iraq, or Afghanistan, which suits the US & NATO down to the ground, Russia knows full well she cannot challenge NATO, shes just playing games

Perhaps you should brush up on your WWII history, Russia sustained such heavy casualty's because the Germans steamrolled and outclassed the Russian in ever area of military tech, without the western front Russia would be speaking German, had it not been for the allies Germany would have went all the way

Consider NATO is many many time larger than the Russian military with better tech the odds are slim to none putting asides thermo nuclear

Russia seems to sustainable heavy causalities where ever she fights due to having a POORLY trained and maintained army

So whats it to be?...

Simple let them keep digging a big hole, pile on political pressure and sanctions, and what them crumble, the US has every right to come to the aid of NATO member states as deterrent, they're not Russian waters, and that is exactly what this is... a show of force to deter Russia from thinking about a full scale invasion of Ukraine

Russia is not the aggressor here.....But they simply will not allow themselves to be encircled by the west. If the west doesn't back off and it really comes down to it the Russians will initiate a thermonuclear exchange, as they will have absolutely nothing to lose.

PS - The idea of the west (with our economy now based almost entirely on fraud) sanctioning Russia is almost as laughable as your knowledge of WWII/GPW history.

Not quite correct with Israel being left out the picture but you are on the right lines.

You seem to forget assets on the ground like graystone , Missiles in places like Poland and if you cast your mind back then a fishing boat from Iran off the coast of the USA had lots of americans saying it's war.

The Destroyer is a sitting duck and it would take a lot more then an unarmed fighter to take it out but who put that ship in armys way and what does that tell you about those that sent the ship.

The USA must be under attack by these fishing boats because tax payers are being raped to pay for all this defence on the other side of the world so it must be a pretty flexible atytack don't you think.

Don't be facetious!

US policy in this regard is widely understood.....We've all read the books (Well, maybe you haven't?).

The US as a nation has absolutely no idea of war whatsoever, the last time the US nation was seriously involved in a fight for survival, rifled muskets and muzzle loading cannon were the weapon of choice on the battlefield.

No US city would ever survive in a Stalingrad type scenario.....Frankly I very much doubt you even really understand what happened at Stalingrad do you?

I'd say the Russians were demonstrating exactly how unafraid of your hideously outclassed guided missile destroyer they really are.....Aegis ships simply don't have sufficient fire-director capability to ward off an attack by swarms of sea-skimming missiles.

A Su-34 and it's payload costs the Russian taxpayer an awful lot less than you paid for your floating tin can.....Pawn takes knight is always a good exchange!

PS - You can be absolutrly confident that that Sukhoi was just bristling with EW pods, and now they know the exact capabilities of your precious little boat.....That wasn't a provocation, it was target recon!

The upgraded Aegis has the fire control to handle a lot more than you think. Between the missile guidance upgrades and the fire director upgrades they've improved the system a lot over where it used to be. And one SU-24 is not going to be launching "swarms of missiles".

But the fact that it's only one destroyer shows how not worried the Navy is about those swarms of missiles. If they thought something was going to happen it would have been several ships to back each other up, not just one.

It was stupid of Russia to test our military. At some point, the U.S. Military is not going to be further provoked without taking action. Russia got a pass this time, and that is why I think the U.S. Dept. Of Defense wanted this latest Russian provocation in the news, because if it happens again, and the U.S. Military shoots down a would be agressor, then the U.S. Military can say "we told you we were not going to accept this type of behavior".

Who thinks that the U.S. Should reinstitute the missle Defense system in Poland, so as to defend NATO allies from the potential of an Iranian or other ballistic missile ? I think we should.

No not at all but every time a war starts its the same old USA that has its nose stuck in the middle of it.

Do you like paying taxes so that we in Europe can be protected by an occupation force when we in Europe don't want you over here in the first place and remind me again just when did the USA last win a war because I was reading that the cost to tax payers of getting new vehcles out of afganistan was so exspensive that it would be more cost effective to just blow them up.

Of course, because we all know the evil US will never leave if told to. We just get our claws in and stay. Because those other countries just hate the fact that they can spend less on their own military and let the US make up the difference with our equipment, while paying massive amounts of rent for the base.

I would love to say screw the world and leave everyone to fend for themselves. But it doesn't work that way anymore, so deal with it. If you want us gone so badly get people in office that will ask us to leave and get rid of us.
