I, for one, hope that they have found something. Otherwise, it's just worse for the families.
But if the authorities DON'T find wreckage or I hear someone elses' perspective that's been able to actually see the views that I've mentioned, I still believe it should be looked into.
Let's hope for a resolution, either way.

CNN might be lagging. They're still saying 'nothing definitive'..

I'm not sure what the message would be? This picture/news is all over the TV.
I don't have better contacts than anyone else - except perhaps in the 'Catholic world' ...
(but that's another story)
Otherwise ... Just the basic contacts for news outlets that we all have ...

ETA - This is all over FOX news this morning ... so the news is out ...
They said it'll be 10 hours before the search planes can get back in that area.
But there is a Norwegian ship there now .. searching ...

TWO objects possibly related to the search for a missing Malaysia Airlines plane have been identified, Prime Minister Tony Abbott says.

Mr Abbott told parliament "new and credible information" had come to light in the search for MH370.

"The Australian Maritime Safety Authority has received information based on satellite information of objects possibly related to the search," he said before question time.

"Following specialist analysis of this satellite imagery, two possible objects related to the search have been identified."

The prime minister said an Australian airforce Orion had been diverted to locate the objects and is expected to arrive in the area shortly.

"Three more aircraft will follow," he said. "They are tasked for (a) more intensive follow up search."

Mr Abbott said he has informed Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak of the developments.

But he warned against drawing any premature conclusions or hopes on the search.

"We must keep in mind the task of locating these objects will be extremely difficult and it may turn out that they are not related to the search for flight MH370," Mr Abbott said.

AMSA is due to reveal more details at 3.30pm AEDT.

News conference to be held in about half an hour.

Will update here but I am sure most news around the world will show the press conference.

Call me paranoid but BS alarm went through the roof with this news. I wouldnt be surprised if Australians were given orders by emperor Obama to take the heat of the search. Misguide the sheeple while they prepare for their next phase.

Australia is the perfect candidate, why? because it is the only US ally near the Asia region, which hasn't seen de-stabilisation...yet. Plus Australia has done great work at fooling the masses with photoshopping images. People over board scandal anyone?

They should be investigating ground crew. There had to be a bomb in the avionics rack for the pilots and communications gear to all fail and succom so quickly. Likely planted by ground crew. Explosion takes out com gear. Pilot quickly changes autopilot to pre programmed emergency landing site, pilot's pass out or die before they can communicate if there was anything left to communicate with. No one in back if alive can get to cockpit due to post 911 lockouts. Hopefully the passengers passed out or died near same time as pilots rather than taking a 7 hour flight of fear into oblivion until gas ran out and crash into Ocean

This is an open forum could you please highlight to me where it says i should 'keep' my 'ridiculous tinfoil-hattery' to myself. Are you some sort of underground ATS police? if you dont like what people say add some something to counter their argument or move on instead enforcing your belief on to others.

For some, 'great and sinister conspiracies' are learned about at university in Foreign Policy courses. It's not all tin foil hattery, you know. Some it is actually real. And this, if not caused by the US (which I see as a possibiity) will almost certainly be exploited by them (& Australia) on behalf of western multinationals for geopolitical and economic gain.

For example, www.smh.com.au...

A Norwegian car transport ship has arrived at the spot the debris was spotted, no word if it's still there (highly unlikely) or if there's anything else in the area, doubt we'll know for maybe another 8-10 hours as it's night in the area now.

The coordinates are there and accurate but I did mention that you have to scroll slowly and carefully.

This is NOT the image of the coordinates for the body/tail portion...this IS debris of some nature, however.
I use the mouse to get the coordinates, xoom in and then slowly scour. i realize it's easier because I've already seen them and know right where to go. Plus, as stated...the copyright is the dat below.
As far as the plane, if you were able to zoom in completely, you'd see it was a real aircraft.

Also, the debris area is maybe a bit too close to the maximum predicted range of the aircraft.

Keep in mind that the plane (supposedly) crushed a week ago, by this point the debris would have been scattered by waves, wind etc, I don't think it would still be in the same location.

This is terribly frustrating. Whether or not it is Flt 370, I can't say...but there is an aircraft down there, that had crashed.
I hope people keep looking into this. There are no photoshops, etc. It's all legitimate
