Hi O.B. *Waves*

Put your towel on a radiator

Had an unexpected frost here this morning

Frozen fingers on the way to work.

It can be a little shocking, stepping from the stream of water, out of its vapourous tendrils, and into the icy grip of a chill. Freshly washed feet on floor tiles can be particularly vexing, so I can understand your lack of motivation to get in the shower! What I would say, is if you learn to enjoy the shock, it is easier to ride its effects

I know what you mean. I will always love playing my bass, but it is time consuming to sit there an make sure I get enough practice. This month I will endeavour to get at least twenty minutes a day... We shall see how that works out lol!

Good morning, everyone (although many of you are well into your day).

Cody, I'm glad you got the place cleaned up!

Good Mornin' one and all! Cody good to see you have re-opened a coffee thread! Yah I know I'm days late gettin' in here, typical for me this time of year and all, winter funk. I can't stand chicago area winters. Came originally from 3 hrs east, on the mississippi river area and those winters were bad enough. Freakin' lake effect snow Sucks! LOL! Spring won't be here soon enough.
I ramble.... Had a good morning fix of coffee, on 3rd pot now, and some good wake up music so I'm ready to face the day......
Hope Everyone has a Good Week! Later, Syx.

I'm into heavier too. Got a 21 yr old here into all the newer bands, and I like em all. Love the classics though, gotta. Am almost 52 yrs old now so I can't leave em behind, lol. Pantera, GodSmack and a few more I'm too braindead right now to think of are good too. Any suggestions? Thanx, Syx.

We really do mirror each other BFFT, you go to work as I finish, and you go to bed as I go to work.

Tell the PO to get a move on I sent that a week ago last Thursday.

Well, my "work" playlist runs the gamut. There are about 50 songs from Metallica....but it also has loads of slipknot, tool, mudvayne, three days grace, pearl jam, alice in chains, korn...

...rolling stones, bob segar, black sabbath, steve miller.....

....exile, ELO, the police....

...Astroid Galaxy Tour, lady gaga...

But 90% is what most would call "Heavy Metal, "Nu Metal", "grunge rock", and "rock"

I was just givin ya crap

I like all genres of music, though I do tend to like my metal quite heavy. The stuff I enjoy might put you out of your comfort zone...

What I have been listening to lately:

Odium "Burning the Bridges to Nowhere" (a bit softer)
Genedefect "Nebulae Archaic" (a bit softer)
Obscura "Cosmogenesis"
Psycroptic "The Scepter of Jaar-Gilon"
Ouroboros "Glorification of a Myth"
Brutal Truth "End Time"
Black Breath "Sentenced to Life"
Trap Them "Sleepwell Deconstructor"
God is an Astronaut "Age of the Fifth Sun" (ambient type stuffs)

I usually have a selection of about 10 albums I listen to for the week, then I switch the next week. You can probably find all of that stuff on youtube, probably including some hilarious music videos.
