For some strange reason they all THINK we are wearing star-trek avatars. Mass Delusion.

LOL.. Yeah.. I got carried away counting avatars.. I corrected my post above.. back to 26.. but my hopes are that this thread will see at least 30 before the day is through.

This thread has been a blast. One thing I didn't realize is that Picard DOES keep fish. My aquarium is right behind me. Dory says "Hello."

Are you sure that you haven't targeted an individual before...

Thanks for posting!

You are one of the original 4 I had seen. Now there are only two more that are not represented in this thread.. perhaps they will show up. That makes 24 mods unique with Star Trek Avatars in this thread and a total of 26 I have seen since yesterday when I started counting.

'To take ATS and boldly go where no sheep has dared go before!'

Star Trek forever! The series that fired up mankind's imagination and quest into the boldest adventure we humans had ever attempted before. - second line.

Resistence is futile. You will be assimilated...or, at least, modded.

Maybe it's just because many fans of ST like to "think outside the box"?

Maybe it is a sign from the mods hinting to the members there is more truth in what we consider science fictions than what we accept as science factions...

resistance was not futile.

Its amazing how the conspiratorial mind works. Very clever of you to come up with that but theres one simple flaw in your argument....

My location is set to W.Yorks, England because, oddly, thats where I live

Until I read this thread and saw your post (carefully hidden at the bottom of p5 I might add) I didn't even know we had a resident Mod in Yorkshire - (a local Mod for local people, as they might say in Royston Vasey)

[best 'Data as Sherlock Holmes' voice]

Let us examine the evidence.

We have a Star Trek loving Mod (who names his children after characters in the show) living in West Yorkshire.

Patrick Stewart, having been knighted just last month, decides to return to his roots and relocates from Los Angeles to come home to live here again.

Today he returns to Huddersfield University (where he has just recently been made Chancellor) to take part in the graduation ceremonies. He is now in West Yorkshire and within close hailing distance of the said Mod.

Today is his 70th birthday. And today all the Mods at ATS begin to appear in Star Trek uniforms.

But we are not to suppose they're celebrating his birthday?

This is all merely a coincidence?

I think not.

On the contrary, I surmise that they are in fact preparing a surprise birthday party for Jean Luc Sir Patrick round at neformore's place and are probably lighting the 70 candles round about now.

[/Data voice]

But... a flaw you said... that.. just... a FLAW??? ...

Brilliant thread! Well done, Mods

And Happy Birthday Sir Patrick, live long and prosper

Well I know I am not a mod and do not have a trekky avatar, but my signature reads of Star Trek Voyager and always has...

After TNG Voyager was a great replacement, better than DSN!

Cool. I just saw SkepticOverlord has a Kirk Avatar in the "CNN is covering the BP/Mustang Story! " thread. Page 3

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Perhaps he will pop in and say hello.

This makes 27 I have seen and 24 represented in this thread :-)

Yeah, I know he is not a mod.. but as the owner.. he's the God of Mods so he counts.

Makes me wonder if Springer has a Star Trek Avatar as well.

A rogues Gallery if ever there was one.

I have lost count of the flagrant breaches of Star Fleet Protocol committed by these "Mods" as they roam the Galaxy looking for technical information.
