I thought Thor was an alien.

That's what Stargate said.

Interesting subject/stories about the voices, I've experienced this a lot, both from familiar and unfamiliar voices.

I'll take a look at that thread now.

Speaking of Sugars... It comes in many different forms and (not so well) known names

barley malt
beet sugar
brown sugar
buttered syrup
cane-juice crystals
cane sugar
carob syrup
corn syrup
corn syrup solids

But this is how the sugars are labeled that are (and not so well) known..

date sugar
diastatic malt
ethyl maltol
fruit juice
fruit juice concentrate
glucose solids
golden sugar
golden syrup
grape sugar
high-fructose corn syrup
invert sugar
malt syrup
raw sugar
refiner's syrup
sorghum syrup
turbinado sugar
yellow sugar

(and the above is only about 35% of the types of sugars, see link below for a larger and informed list)

A very eye-opening bit of information is located here.. "Sugars & Sweeteners"
The above link will also list whether or not your system can tolerate these sugars and sweetners in small or large quantities.

FYI... Did you know that a can of soda has up to (and sometimes more than) 20 teaspoons of sugar in it (depending on the size and make)?

how many spoonsfulll of sugar does a jar of honey have? Dont eat things that make you feel better. The only thing that hurts is other people judging. Lets all be fat. Like the most ancient venus

Thanks for the great show. I'm keeping even more distance from crocs from now on....

You guys are like celebrities to me now. Do you do autographs?

Garth you sound like you're feeling better 100%! Curling...when I
first saw that as a sport on the Olympics I was shocked that it was
a "sport". I just learned last week that those guys actually use every
muscle in their body when sweeping. Who would imagine?
Thank you for the show!

Ektar, I now LOVE culing! DH has had the Olympics on almost non-stop (when we're home) and curling has really caught my attention. Can't seem to find anywhere nerme to get into it though

Hello, I'm the OP from the Nordic alien thread. I am curious to hear the conversation's about my topic on the radio.

I went to find a rewind copy and could not find one. And there seems to actually be a show airing right now....isn't the show supposed to be over by now?

Good show, thank you. A question. I was kind of surprised that when the on-air people were discussing the "pharaoh head on Mars" (or was it the Duke of Paris' head on Titan?) that nobody mentioned it was a few inches long and has been debunked by another photograph of the same area from a different angle:

So my question is, when you talk about a thread, does somebody actually read the entire thread to report on the latest updates? Thanks.

I do enjoy the show (when I'm around to listen), and often the music choices.

We try and leave our thread picks as late as possible in order to catch anything that comes up - what that means is that sometimes we don't have chance to get through the whole thread and replies - although we do our best.

Bear in mind our "mission" is to draw attention to the threads, and get people to read them - we give our opinions and leave it to everyone else.

What I will say is this though... do small carvings not exist here on earth? Size may not be the issue here.

Just wanted to say, Great Show! The timing and pacing moved right along and kept it interesting throughout. It can sometimes bog down a bit when we thoroughly beat our dead horses so it was nice to see you let a few of them limp back home this week. I am giving it a Thumbs-Up! Keep up the good work.
