Valentine For My Muse [Feb2014]

At first glance you may only see
a beautiful and lithe young woman,
but there is so much more than
what meets the eye
for
she moves with a catlike grace,
her movement is like a gentle breeze,
she exists as a dancer
for the world to embrace
when
upon sharing her words
she speaks an old language
of sensitivity and creativity,
born of experience and understanding
life
she is courageous and not afraid to cry,
she embraces emotions as her first language,
she breathes and exhales with the heartbeat
of those she is with and
loves
this ancient soul within
must find expression
through her dance and words
she gives to those around her
hope
for when life loves hope
there is hope for life.

It's very well written! I'm sure your muse would be or is or perhaps will be very pleased with it. It has a good rhythm to it and reads well, the last two lines especially add great poignance to the piece. Well done, I'm sure any girl would be thrilled to find out it's about her!
