and more and more People realized it!

There is no Reason anymore for your Fear-Mongering
and this is great because we need to face Reality,
this is the only Way how we stop and how we prevent further Accidents
and even Disaster!

As I have said before, the Japanese government have advertised and recruited people to counteract what they call "fear mongering" about Fukushima. We even have those recruited on this site. There is a very great difference between fear mongering and allowing the truth to get out. Now, if the truth is being massaged on a country-wide level, then we the sheeple need to know where and how that is affecting us or going to affect us in the future.

In the massive Fukushima threads there is ample discussion and links to sources showing ocean and atmospheric plume estimations and directions of the radiation travel.

There are other heavier radioactive isotopes which have been released into the atmosphere as a result of the explosions and ongoing releases from Fukushima. Some of these stay aloft for years blowing around in the upper atmosphere and falling across the globe on oceans and countryside grass to be eaten by cows who produce our milk, cheese, meat. So, it is not just cesium and iodine which we need to monitor but unfortunately these are the relatively short-lived ones which the MSM and TEPCO concentrate on. The real nasties are the ones which have half-lives of thousands and tens of thousands of years and will be with us all for millennia. Yet no-one mentions them because if they did, people would realise the true scale of the disaster.

Someone said that the isotopes sink to the bottom of the sea and will not reach the US. The isotopes get concentrated in the mud as they sink out of suspension. What he omitted to say is that some of the creatures at the bottom of the food ladder live in the mud at the bottom of the sea. They (worms, crabs, etc) process the mud and take up the radiation. Also, krill, and the young of other creatures often feed on the suspended particles in the oceans and these creatures are also going to eat the radioactive material. As it moves up the food chain it gets concentrated in the bodies of higher animals. You think about it, this is not fear mongering at all.

TEPCO and the Japanese government is the source of much of this information and they have shown that they are prone to faulty science. There have been many 'mistakes' made in the historic reporting of data and so our arguments on this thread about the source of our information become meaningless when the data originates from a source which is either paid by the worldwide nuclear industry or by one which is paid by Japan.

In fact, I should think, it is very difficult to get an independent reliable source in a disaster event such as this which is so security-sensitive.

The mass bird die offs could be caused by birds eating radiated fish stock and dropping dead and then perhaps the land animals eat these dead birds. It's a food chain. I'm not saying this is the case, but could be a possibility. I could supply you with a list of mass die offs in the last twelve months. It's staggering and yet no MSM news agency taking up the story and joining the dots.

I remember when Chernobyl happened and how many sheep and cows had to be destroyed in Scotland due to the radiation in the grass. The number of children born with deformities in Scotland was a national disgrace and yet hardly ever spoke about. The fact is Fukushima has realised so much more than Chernobyl that anyone saying it's not damaging the world is crazy.

Totally agree with your comments, however other users on this site seem to have an agenda to discredit anything that proves Fukishima is a danger to our planet for thousands of years and it's only just starting

I do take the middle ground on most issues, however the fact of the matter regarding his issue is we are being given facts by the corporation who are tasked with cleaning this mess up. Something like this needs to be controlled and fixed by the international community. If you think for one moment I am going to blindly accept the information being drip fed by a corporation, then you are mistaken.

Whilst the silence of the media on this subject is deafening, there are users on this site who seem to have an alternative agenda to derailing these threads and I for one would not be surprised if certain individuals benefit finacially by derailing these threads. "Thou does protest to much" springs to mind, exspeacilly when they start to get personal.

"Affected" is a good Word but it miss the Point that Bio-Accumulation need a permanent
Supply of Radioactivity but the biggest part of the Northern Pacific do not get a stable
Emission from Fukushima!

Even directly in Fukushima Prefecture, as well as the rest of Tohoku (the name of the Area)
we observe a massive decrease in the Dosage of the Seaweeds, Plankton and Fishes.
(look for the File above!)

Already now the Bq. is seven to ten Times lower than directly after the 03/11.

In the US we will see Caesium for a few Years but it will be gone even before their
first Process of Decay, a Bio-Accumulation is implausible!

And when we start for the Bio-Logical Half-Life it get even better
because Caesium do not get 1-to-1 absorbed!

Cesium 137 has a half life of 30 years. It's not going to degrade for decades, the fact is there's more radiation being leaked into the Ocean everyday, including today, yesterday and tomorrow. This is an ongoing disaster and far from over, no one is able to say the damage being caused or going to be caused will be limited.

You are without any Imagination of the Information provided by Tepco,
what "you" can see are only the English Translations but more than 80%
of their Information come in Japanese only!

To call this "Drip Fed" is ignorant but i understand your Problem,
you want to see Solutions as quick as possible because you are scared
and this is Okay.

Caesium 134/137 is a soluble Salt
and the Pacific is not a small Bucket!

Also the release of Caesium in Fukushima (after the first Week of 3/11)
is minimal, even directly inside of the Harbor
of F'Shima Daiichi because Caesium do not pass
the Soil/Ground that easy like Strontium-90 or Tritium.

You are quite right, I am scared as hell and I'm not even in the US.

Regarding the Cesium, as you correctly said this is just one radioactive material being released into the environment. I started this thread as I had read the original article and wanted to discuss. At no time have I personally attacked anyone, rather than ask questions as some members seem to think they have this all sorted.

I'll make a prediction today that the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 will not take place in Tokyo or anywhere else in Japan.
