This is my favorite: "VIDEO: NEWS HELICOPTER FROM KCRA-TV SACRAMENTO AIRS VIDEO OF ROGUE PLANET; INBOUND TOWARD EARTH:. They claimed that a rogue planet was blocking part of Venus, and was hurtling towards earth. No proof whatsoever of the claims. The only thing that was videoed was the crescent of Venus.

Thank you for dealing with this. It seems to have been a focus point for the majority of BS stories I've seen posted in the last week. That particular story was one of my favorites too. They even tried to cite the old "tilted moon" chestnut as proof of a "rogue planet." Their articles seem to back up falsehoods with more falsehoods. It's a treasure trove of ignorance.

Ugh, if a site is outright LYING then they shouldn't ever be a part of spirited debate...

Your argument fails.

Some people read a hoax and believe it though, then attempt to use it to prop up other theories. The motto of this site is deny ignorance. Using a fake story as a source is beyond ignorant.

Can you give us an example of what was considered a hoax by TNR. I'm sure there must have been something specific recently to warrant the new rule.

perhaps this one?
www.abovetopsecret.com...

They have this story
turnerradionetwork.com...
VIDEO: NEWS HELICOPTER FROM KCRA-TV SACRAMENTO AIRS VIDEO OF ROGUE PLANET; INBOUND TOWARD EARTH

I checked out the KCRA one since that station is in my hometown. Bad link, don't click on it! I got a weird error page with lots of beeping I couldn't close down, had to use task manager to close Chrome.

On a related note, I get something similar using chrome on my phone out the blue just browsing here, also have to use task manage on it to close chrome
