The MV Cape Ray is preparing to leave Portsmouth, Virginia in about two weeks time, heading for the Mediterranean, where other nations' ships will deliver chemical weapons from Syria to be destroyed. The Pentagon gave reporters a tour Thursday. (Jan. 2)

This seems like an opportunity for a "False Flag" event where the chemicals disappear and are used to facilitate a war time event.

So they are just going to dump this in the Ocean also?

How are they so stupid, They the US and Russia both dump Radioactive material in the Oceans like the Ocean is so big it will just go away.

Now this crap they are going to dump in ocean, what Moron's.

Just what kind of ship is this?
Does it have some kind of giant incinerator aboard?
What IS the SAFE way to dispose of chem weapons at sea?????
Sounds perfectly ominous to me............

You dispose if it by putting it on a raft / barge and load it up with lots of high explosives and blow it up. The stuff gets vaporized so quickly that there is no chemical anything left over. They do it out to sea so that the can keep it away from people in case the detonation doesn't work as well as planned. Basically hit it at once with overkill explosive wise to be sure. Or as lt. hicks once said "nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to he sure."

Thanks, i wondered about that.....didnt they do something similar in Iraq in the big war?
back in the 90s, when they piled up a huge mess of # in the desert, and blew it up showering allies and US troops as well with the massive downwind fallout?

I believe all of the U.S. nuclear waste goes to Yucca Mountain not the ocean.

The chemical weapons are to escorted by a Russian Missile Cruiser and another Chinese warship, so should arrive at their destination without incident, unless someone is dumb enough to engage those escorts!

I think it goes to Yucca mountain, or at least that was the proposal. However, the US has in the past dumped a huge amount into the ocean, mostly the Atlantic if I remember correctly.

Why?

I think if the US were to use 'Chemical Weapons' as a some part of a "False Flag" I'm pretty sure the US has enough of their own. No need to Telegraph their intentions by using Syria's stockpile for such a clandestine activity....

It is suppose to, but as far as I know they have not ever started doing that, if they are sending it there it is just recently they stared too.

I was referring to in the past both US and Russia, have dumped their nuclear waste in the bottom of the ocean. The Russia's were dumping into the trenches, of the Ocean so deep we can not retrieve it. The US dumped part of a Russia sub they retrieved, was the radioactive garbage from sub they dumped. They wanted to get it off the ship before they reached port.

I would have to check but even though they built that Yucca Mountain site, I never heard they had really started to use it.

Probably. They also vaporized an entire Iraqi apartment complex with zero regard to collateral damage there. They found chemical weapons in one of the apts and didn't have or maybe want to use the resources to remove it and blow it off sight. So they had the USAF
go in and hit it all at once with enough ordinance to vaporize most of the block. Maybe because its safer that way or because they didn't want anybody to actually get a good look at the chemical weapons cause you know they were probably us ordinance to begin with. Of course this never made it to the news or out of certain circles. Vaporized a apartment complex in the middle of a major city to destroy the chemical weapons.

Anyhow these people are suppose to be so smart and really, we are allowing a bunch of Moron's, to destroy life on Earth as we know it.

This was like the time I was at one of those landfills. I pull up and I ask what is that big hole you guys are digging over there. The guy says " oh, that's the new lake we are putting in " I goes " what, they can't put a lake next to the dump like that ". So I go back some time latter and the hole for the lake is gone, but then I see they had moved it across the road. Well that did not work either, no lakes for the dump, and the ski hill is also gone now, as all the poisons were coming out there also. But these dude's go to school and they don't learn any thing about common sense. Like you don't crap in your own back yard, as you might need to go back there sometime.

But who is to insure this stuff is even dumped in the Ocean, like Osama , who knows. What are the chemical compound's involved with this poison. Will it make good fish food, will it make a good reef, so as the fish may have good access to this poison?

Nothing is to be dumped in the ocean, nor is it to be blown up. Here is an article that give a general overview of the process and a pic of the ship.

Business Insider

While destroying chemical weapons at sea is without precedent, the technology employed has been around for decades, according to Adam Baker, a chemical engineer with the US military's Edgewood Chemical Biological Center.

"It is essentially the same chemical process that we've used for our chemical weapons stockpile," Baker said. "We just scaled it down into a transportable form."

The hydrolysis process is supposed to render the lethal agents into a sludge similar to industrial toxic waste.

On the outside of the tent, huge green pipes run through a forest of valves and six enormous gray cisterns, where the resulting material from the hydrolysis will be stored and measured for toxicity.

The "residue" from the operation, which will amount to 1.5 million gallons (5.7 million liters), will then be transferred to white cisterns mounted on a lower deck.

The fact is that it does not say where this stuff will end up in the end.

Nor does it say how much of the process water, will be dumped back into the Mediterranean.

They say the only reason they are doing process out on the water, is to avoid any restriction's that would come from doing this on land. So in other words it would be illegal to do what they are to do at sea, on land.
So this is, just a side step to avoid, government restrictions, because they would be hard put to get this done, other wise.

" The hydrolysis process is supposed to render the lethal agents into a sludge similar to industrial toxic waste. "

Which is why i am quite alarmed this operation is taking place near the Island of Crete where i live.

It will be off the coast to the west but still.

What is this place and see here relating with those chemicals and they have to be "wasted" here?

Moreover who assures that this is going to be safe and done with, with no further consequence to the people, sea and wildlife?

Only thing i can say for sure is that this is a true story since this thread is cross referencing what i know from some media in Greece.
