Oh what the heck, I can't resists. While I am here how about another interesting article? It looks like someone at Pravda has their 2 cents on where the US is heading. Although this article is demeaning to Americans, I figure they should have experience with the definition of what makes a communist, eh? I say it is pretty bad when the USSR makes jabs at the US citizens for allowing communism to get a grip.

Bye, bye Miss American Pie. The Communists have won in America with Obama but failed miserably in Russia with Zyuganov who only received 17% of the vote. Vladimir Putin was re-elected as President keeping the NWO order out of Russia while America continues to repeat the Soviet mistake.

Recently, Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate society and he is ready to continue his lies of less taxes while he raises them. He gives speeches of peace and love in the world while he promotes wars as he did in Egypt, Libya and Syria. He plans his next war is with Iran as he fires or demotes his generals who get in the way.

I must say those are some powerful words.... And to be honest they are right and I am ashamed of my ignorant brethren.

He is a Communist without question promoting the Communist Manifesto without calling it so. How shrewd he is in America. His cult of personality mesmerizes those who cannot go beyond their ignorance. They will continue to follow him like those fools who still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia. Obama's fools and Stalin's fools share the same drink of illusion.

Satan laughing with delight the day the music died

He was singing, bye bye Miss American Pie

Xavier Lerma, the author of the previously linked article, also equates the philosophies of Vladimir Putin and Ronald Reagan. Mr. Lerma would certainly qualify as an extreme right-winger (check out his blog at xlerma.wordpress.com for more info) and the article is published on pravda.ru.

"Pravda.ru is not to be confused with Pravda, the former Soviet Communist newspaper, which is currently a Russian-language newspaper owned by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. The name (and a few former collaborators, apparently) is the sole link with that newspaper. The site is available in Russian, English, Italian, and Portuguese." (Lerma's article is from the English version at pravda.ru.) (based on information at rationalwiki.org.)

Interested parties should review the site, pravda.ru, and Mr. Lerma's writings for themselves. YMMV

Sad but mostly true. I don't think Putin has kicked out the NWO though, it's probably just another social experiment. It's America and Britain's time to be brought to their knees!

What are my thoughts on this... Obama has been called more of a Republican than a Democrat by some. The Communist Manifesto - well, that involves getting rid of the middle-class (honestly, it was about getting rid of the middle-class, not the rich) and our country is somewhat on the way to that.

Although I think it is more on its way to being a Brave New World -

-----

In the end, though, we will probably experience a Conservative Resurgence (the Tea Party wing of the House of Representatives just being a taste) bringing with it its own set of gigantic disasters before Obama pushes us much farther to the left.

Now is about the time to start worrying about the totalitarian tactics put in place by the Obama Administration as they are handed over to the Republican (Neo-con? Tea-party? Religious right? Corporate?) sympathizers.

It was an opinion piece and has nothing to do with news content. Which by the way, here is an example from their home page.

•Volgograd trolleybus explosion related to train station blast
•Saudi Arabia to invest $3 million in Lebanese army
•Putin and Medvedev discuss Volgograd blasts
•Putin signs law approving criminal punishment for calls to separatism
•Russia and Kazakhstan establish Unified Missile Defense System

Pravda.ru

My point is that this was an opinion of a person from the soviet Union who has experienced communism first hand. It also looks like you cut and pasted your info from a wiki page.

Plus, a US congressman posted an opinion piece at Pravda.ru also. (Although I think he is a num-nut.)

Senator John McCain: Russians deserve better than Putin

My post offered no commentary on whether the article was news or opinion.

My post clarified the relationship between pravda.ru and the classically-known Communist Party newspaper Pravda.

My post correctly identifies the source of the information presented that is not my original thought. The source is somewhat rudely inimical to ATS, thus I felt it was improper to link directly to the site in the post.

Here is another source(Encyclopedia.com) that asserts that "After the collapse of the USSR nationalist and communist journalists intermittently published a print newspaper and an online newspaper under the name Pravda. However, the new publications were not official organs of the revived Communist Party."

ADDED IN EDIT: Also of note, regarding the McCain article: McCain Writes Article for 'Wrong' Pravda

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Out of small curiosity, do you, elouina, agree with the author's assertion that Vladimir Putin and Ronald Reagan share the same political philosophy? That Putin is a true Conservative in the classic American sense of the term?
Elouina,
It is sad indeed in some ways. Like you mentioned, the fact that so many people are blind in this country. But I feel that the country as a whole is not dumb but simply ignorant of the true power structure, the lies and the severity of the corruption that is our government and the corporations that are pulling the strings. To me it is not unlike Germany in the 1930's where people did not know the extent of the evil that lurked behind the curtain.
I, on the other hand, find Russians telling us to "watch out" a positive thing. To me it seems like they see a possible friend being beheaded and feel powerless to help. But....they could be a great ally in the future if they continue to hold fast against the PTB and we continue to crumble before them. They may end up being a strength for us when things fall apart here as they seem destined to do.
Your comments were impressive. You got the point 100%. Just look what has been happening all over the world as their lives improve from imitating the US. And then what happens? The US does an about face and starts heading into the same dark path they are emerging from. They have to think we are nuts! We had it made!
Right now I wonder if it truly is time for the Tea Party. Even the liberal black people that voted for Obama are starting to see that they were being played for fools. What has Obama done for them besides fanning racial flames? Man does not want to go out an help his neighbor if he is being ripped to shreds by them. Us citizens need to help each other to make our country a better place. And racial tensions just serves to destroy the harmony that would accomplish this.
I agree.....the race baiting is ripping us apart again along racial lines but underneath, there is little to no real racism. It is just something forced down our throats to keep us off balance and as you said....not working together. If we work together and help one another and actually get to know our neighbors then they fail because we will all see them for who they are.
Just like mentioned above, the problem is we are so divided for no real reason, they just put that hate in our minds through manipulation.
But Id go further than the black and white racism and say that we need to realize we are all in this mess together, not only the US but all the countries the US affects in one way or another.
This of course includes the russian people.
Im not an american myself but my guess would be that to the average american, a message like this would automatically be taken as nothing but an insult and a lie, because of it coming from your long time "enemy".
But maybe im wrong about that?
All I know is that it is of no benefit for us, the people of this planet to hate each other purely based on where we are from. TBTB on the other hand, benefit from it in many ways as we are easy to control when divided.
If anything the us is heading in the exact opposite direction of communism. The corporate ownership of the country is no secret.
Income inequality is bigger than it has ever been and you have the private jail system jailing minorities and the poor for the most insignificant offenses.
And to top it all off you have the corrupt politicians fooling people into believing that the minorities, the poor and the immigrants are the ones responsible for the downfall of this nation.
But don't you dare bring up the 900 billion defense budget...we have to protect the homeland!
Most Americans do not understand and only a few can intelligently discuss complex political subjects, and this is by design, the bipartisanship also does not help. There is also the problem of the meaning and general understanding of concepts that do not translate across the Atlantic due to lack of political experience, raging anticommunist propaganda, media control and outright disinformation. Even worker unions are completely different in the Anglo-American world view to the rest of the European nations... if anything we can observe that Europe is slowly but increasingly adopting the Anglo-American dualistic (or more simplistic and empty of ideological content) view of politic discourse including the cult of fabricated personality (good state figure head are now a dying breed)...
There are some astoundingly ignorant comments on this thread. No, Obama's not a communist and I don't think that many people here realise what a communist actually is.
By the way the Tea Party is heading for disaster at the next election. A more stupid collection of bigots I cannot recall seeing before.
Ive talked to a lot of Russians and most of them really do ridicule America that is now descending into Socialism and Communism under the guise of "Egalitarianism" and "Liberalism". The Pravda article correctly notices that it is a rule of the illiterate and the dumb. Oppose the tyrant and he calls you a bigot. Its so strange because Putin is making Russia just the opposite. He is crafting Russia the way the U.S. used to be. A nation based on Judeo-Christian values, mutual respect and rule of people who deserve to rule by education, track record and merit. Russia is going up, America is going down. Give it 20 years and the situation will be a reverse of what it was in the 50s and 60s.
There are indeed forces at work in this country to control the populace, but those forces are neither "right or left wing." Beware anything that impels you declare yourself into one imaginary cadre or the other.
The false "left or right" "blue is true" "red or dead" dichotomies are part and parcel of the control structure that is imposed on the many by the few. This country is not dominated by some "liberal" cabal ... the country is absolutely equally split between "conservatives" (reds) and "liberals" (blues).
Beware of "isms" and "ists" presented as boogey-men that are also part of the control structure by warning constantly of fake enemies and thereby distracting from the real ones. Consider the phantom parade of enemies from the late 19th century to the present: anarchism, then fascism, then communism (or capitalism, depending on your country), then terrorism and now all of the "isms" at once intermingled and meaningless.
Vague fears generated by apocalyptic doom-porn constantly applied to the population increases our susceptibility to control and programming.
Liberals in this country are not, by and large, communists, and conservatives are not, by and large, fascists. Most people in this country are in the huge majority that don't ascribe to either ridiculous extreme and for the most part, just want to live their lives in peace.
The public majority is fed the poison-pill illusions of This or That through extremist media outlets that broadcast and publish lies, spin, propaganda and division twenty-four-seven.
Don't be herded through the red or blue door ... both lead to the metaphorical slaughterhouse.
Think critically, seek the best evidence, and structure truths that don't rely on false dichotomies or phantom fears.
Anyone who thinks Obama is a communist or that the US is heading towards communism does not know the meaning of the word. What I see is people who know little to no history tossing around words they do not understand. What is even more depressing is that people try and compare the US to Rome, or Germany before the Nazis or Russia before the Communists. This shows a complete lack of logical or critical thinking. It is a lazy way of thinking that allows people to be lead around by the nose by tossing out a keywords. Common people your better than that. Pick up a book.
Well USSR was not really communist but state controlled economics where politicians where the parasite on the people working.
Since you have the banking sector parasiting on the people who are working both thru direct manipulation/inflation and taxes to pay for old loans US is not communistic.
To be communistic it has to be the people together working for their own benefits where no one is allowed to parasite on or control. This is very hard to accomplish in larger organisations since ego driven manipulators always try to steal more than they create from their effort.
You live in a economic enslavement feudal system even if the propaganda say you are free and have a right to vote. The money talks.
Communism is hell and that's a good opinion of where our country is headed. Here's a simple explanation:
Communism: a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.
We have class war. We are leading to a society in which property is publically owned. The government now owns the businesses (or vice versa depending on which day of the week it is), foreclosed homes and the government controls our healthcare. We lose the choice if we have no funds and the government decides if we get lifesaving services and medications. Obamacare is a huge failure, just as Obama and Reid wanted in order to push the single payer plan. The pay, I'm not sure on . I consider the banks and insurance company to be part of the government since they decide how the world spins and they're all sharing the same comforter, woven out of the blood, sweat and tears of the middle class.
