It just breaks my heart that this man now 72 - so full of life. I'm 43 and in better shape than most my age, this fella would give me a run for my money. I didn't know him then but I have heard stories about how he used to work a garbage collection route but he didn't ride on the back of the truck between stops - he ran behind the truck the whole route.

I used to get up around 6am and he would have already fed the chickens, made my breakfast and had my coffee to go. He inspired me to the kind of person I wanted to be in my golden years. Spent an adult lifetime in the construction field for which he shares the spoils of his labor with his family but it also graced him with recurring skin cancer which has been manageable. His Dr. jokes that he needs to find a new hobby other than growing skin cancer.

And then this comes along. I cant even imagine a size 11 shoe size tumor in his abdomen and all the pain that accompanies it. Everyone is in the fight not the least of which him but were all also bracing for the worst. He's down to 168 lbs. I was more than that in middle school.

Now were just looking for the right Dr. or treatment center that won't - one, blow sunshine up our ass and - two, wont try to "send him on his way" and preferably can see him before "MAY!" As long as he wants to fight then we will continue to look, but fear in time he's gonna give up on us and succumb to the pain.

He sounds like hes a fighter, hopefully being in the construction field will have kept him fit and that helps .It will help him having good family and friends around him so be strong for him as much as you can .

I hope you get the right doctor that can help

My husband has cancer and we were told that he has only a few months to live...maybe more, but only possibly. I sent him the addy to this thread and hope he will want to try it, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high.

Thank you for posting this, OP!

If you believe in herbal cures, you can message me. After you give details of the condition of your husband, I can give you the method to prepare herbal medicines etc. so that you can help your husband.

If you are going to try any cures try the OPs or also Sodium Dichloroacetate with a caffeine regime. Both appear to have an effect on Mitochondria of cells.

I have personally seen the latter work and as you can see the OP has had great success with the substance he mentioned.

I would also say please consider getting him on a Ketogenic diet ASAP and eliminate most if not all carbs or at least get them under 30 g a day. Cancer eats carbohydrates and when you're in a state of ketosis your body is metabolizing ketone bodies instead.

Hey nofear, after reading your thread i told my mom about it, She works in the medical field and has a few friends that have reoccurring cancer I believe its breast cancer lumps.. One said she cant take the medicine they give her anymore so i looked up the three things you posted and made a little list for her, i was wondering if you knew of a good place online to get the vermox ( mebendazole ).. it seems like that's the only one unattainable in the US... But they are completely open to trying the regime! It makes me happy because I believe our medical field is very corrupt and your story has touched me! I put this list together for them, if theres anything you think i should add to it, your insight would be greatly appreciated.

vermox ( mebendazole ) 3 times a day - 30(100mg) 21.00

firstcanadianshop.com...

Tagamet ( cimetidine ) 4 times a day - 30(200mg) 11.99

www.cvs.com...

50 grams of Glutamine powder twice a day

I guess you can get it with a prescription, so i told my mom to send her to her DR, and show the alamo thread and say "i want to try this" it couldnt hurt!?

Out of curiousity what do you take the tagamet and the glutamine powder for? it says the tagamet is for heartburn and the other i could see for protein synthesis.

Sorry i was going to try and send you a private message but i wasnt sure how

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...

thats a link that explains how the cimetidine works ,,... and the glutamine is an amino acid,it plays a vital role in protein metabolism, cell volumizing, increased production and secretion of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) and anti-catabolism i.e. the impairment and breakdown of muscle tissue,

I've sent a u2u message trist

Yup! it worked that time! Thanks again for your help, im not sure where to check private messages, but my mom was wondering if her friend could have your email to ask questions. If not its understandable, i can always get on here and ask, but shes a middle aged woman I don't believe she would pester you just if she had any questions. I feel awesome that shes willing to try this method, but at the same time its sort of sad that one is desperate enough to try something like this ya know
even though I have faith!

I haven’t told my specialist what ive been taking and he has never asked me. I mentioned some alternative cures to him when I was told about the secondary tumours and he didnt know about any of them ... so I haven’t mentioned it again ..
Feel free to ask any questions i’d be happy to help 
And last but not least i’d like to say thank you to TheAlmo and ATS.

haven’t told my specialist what ive been taking and he has never asked me.

why did you not tell him?

why?

what you afraid of?

it was your duty to hit him over the head with this treatment and berate his incompetence.

how are we going get any change in cancer "treatment" if people like you tip toe away?

is it a question of i'm all right jack?

how are we going get any change in cancer "treatment" if these stuck in a rut people don't get some input from you?

you should have shouted at him.berated him for incompetence.

he gets paid millions of bucks and he keeps prescribing the same crap and over and over.

you should have told that when he gets cancer what is he going to do?

remind him he is not invincible just because he has a couple of million in his bank account.

remind him of steve jobs 300 billion in the bank and how he still got cancer and is dead dead dead.

you need to shake these people out of their complacent sheeple lethargy.

what did you do.Nothing.

we think you should go back and give him a good verbal tongue lashing.

you need to shake these people out of their complacent lethargy.

I hate to let the facts get in the way of an ignorant rant but you do realize that the reason that Steve Jobs died was because he refused medical treatment for a rare type of cancer that has a very high recovery rate if caught early (which it was)? He shunned science-based medicine and instead believed he knew more than the scientific community so went down the alternative medicine route. He paid with his life.
