I got my Imgur album linked a couple posts up. Maybe it wasn't the moon after all. O_o

There are several threads about this subject. It is pretty fascinating.

Unfortunately that we missed this real live opportunity to capture this on camera.

Although with Google glass I think we're maybe going to see more live feeds with UFO activity.

I think ATS should put up a livestream forum with a short delay for moderator to check if its appropriate for the public. .

While Hessdalen is famous for it's Hessdalen lights, this was nothing more than just the moon unfortunately. It's bad weather throughout Norway now, so the disappearing act was more than likely due to clouds.

I'm planning a trip there with a friend of mine this summer to try to capture the infamous lights. If that fails, at least I'd have a nice little roadtrip from Østfold.

Here's a video of the lights via DiscloseTV: Link

cant understand why you got so many stars as it obviously looks too small to be moon and too big to be venus.

Err...

Ok, let's ignore the fact that the Moon was in the position it needed to be at the time of the webcam.

Let's also ignore the fact there was cloud cover that would make it appear smaller than it really is.

Let's also ignore the fact that at the facing direction of the camera, Venus isn't actually visible but Uranus.

So yeah... ignoring all the facts, one can only come to one conclusion.

UFO!

When I first started watching cam 3 the objects bottom edge was just entering the camera frame from the top.
Now the object is in clear view of the camera.
If it is the moon how come it's getting lower?

Because it's setting?
