Million Veteran March on the Memorials - October 13, 2013

I haven't seen anything about this in the news.
It's too bad they weren't able to get this better organized.
Combine it with the million motorcycle riders .... that would have been awesome.

FOX just made mention of it.

It's vets marching against the current administration. There won't be any news.

I am vet and member of several veteran organzations and I have not heard a peep about this. Mostly we have just been putting pressure on congress members (GOP in particular) to push for a clean vote ASAP before benefits end up not being payed.

ETA2: Sounds like they're moving to force open the Lincoln Memorial and the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial.


ETA3: Thousands and thousands of Vets moving in on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial. You go, brothers!! I am so damn proud of you guys!! The videographer says the truckers are being harassed by the cops and that the VVM barricades were torn down earlier.


ETA4: They're regrouping on the Lincoln Memorial. "As you can see, the barricades didn't stop us!"


ETA5: The mounted police just showed up, Marine 1 just flew by, and their are shouts of, "To the White House!"

Pretty good turn out in the video.. multiple Sirens when I first logged on but it has quieted down now. They are walking to the Vietnam memorial...

People in the ivory towers are probably sitting drinking their coffee and thinking what a bunch of loses; nothing they see will interfere with their coffee...

Maybe one day they will have to change their minds.

Saw Ted Cruz in another link he was with the marchers; wish more elected officials were there.

Many backpacks: surprised TSA or some other entity has not tried to tell the people you can't have a backpack in the closed park...?

Maybe I spoke to soon mounted police just showed up.

The march has progressed from the WWII Memorial, to the VVM, to the Lincoln Memorial ...

AND NOW THEYRE MARCHING ON THE WHITE HOUSE

to deliver the barricades they tore down!! Woo Hoo!!!

Where is occupy? Guess they caved...

Why can't truckers vets, Muslims, bikers and everyone organize their protest to happen on the same damn day.

All these little protest aren't rely doing anything were to apathetic.
