Dang how many times do have to post comments about your dang topic you wish to discuss? I wih they would close this thread and for the titty babies on here I would suggest not ever posting a thread on here again until you learn that communication is more than your own opinion and tantrums. If you do not wish to discuss this then dot, but I would imagine that what's going on is you were attempting to achieve what so many others on this site have achieved, you wanted for several people that are like minded with your gay agenda to gang up on the anti gay people like always but ironically enough it did not happen this time and it irks the crap out of you and now you want the entire thread shut down.
Don't feel bad, I was expecting the angry pro gayists to be abundant on here too but no such luck for you.
We attempted to discuss this with you but your biased tantrums would not allow it.

I'm guessing that the topic cannot continue due to the tantrums and bad manners. Oh well LightOrange, you gave it a good run. Hopefully no offense was taken, all in the spirit of the debate.

If a group was boycotting a company because they were "Anti-Gun" or "Anti-Christian" people would agree with them, or call them 'Illuminati Devil Puppets" or the "Liberal Agenda" "socialist" etc. those Key words get tossed around far too much out of ignorance.

The next performance i do i'll gladly make an outfit out of Barilla Pasta!

A company's stance on moral or political issues should have no bearing on whether you buy their products or not. Unless, of course they are very much committed to the forceful acceptance for that agenda and they use their resources (that you helped supplying by buying their products or services). I do not see how Barilla did that. Now, ATT and Ernst & Young did try and use their power, position, and wealth to force their agenda.

Are you not just as guilty of the group think mentality by assuming that only Conservatives can be homophobic??????

Sheeesh, Pot meet kettle!

Liberal progressives cry and beg for tolerance when it is an issue they are for. But the nano second the table is turned they become very intolerant and paint with very large brush strokes.

It is called having a paper rear end.

how much time and energy has been wasted on this non-issue , I am now stupider for reading this thread.
You have been divided, let the conquering ensue.

You're better off just deleting and rewriting this thread (probably avoid using the term conservative in that thread, since it kind of implies that all conservatives are anti-gay which might be part of the reason why your thread got derailed in the first place) if you ever want to have an actual discussion on this. This thread is kind of a trainwreck at the moment.

I am so sick of seeing the homosexual agenda crammed down our throats (no pun intended) every time we turn around. Who gives a crap if "homosexual people" eat Barilla pasta or not ? Why all of the sudden do companies have to go out of their way to accommodate homosexuals ?

No, they shouldn't have to go out of their way to "accommodate homosexuals" specifically, specially. However, the representative or leadership of a company also does not have to go out of their way to make public statements that could be interpreted as anti-homosexual. And while they have every right to do this, they can't expect to do so without some backlash. That's just how it works.

And "the homosexual agenda?" What.. you mean the agenda to be treated fairly and not discriminated against? That should be the status quo, not "an agenda."

Just big FYI, homosexuality is not natural nor proper. It is a very polarized topic. Homosexuals and their sympathysers insist it is natural while the rest of us insist it is not natural. Studies that suggest it is natural are obviously biased as are the studies that suggest that it is not natural. By stating that it is natural you are merely stating opinion.

Whether it's "proper" is the part of that which is a matter of opinion.

nat·u·ral
ˈnaCHərəl/
adjective

1.existing in or caused by nature; not made or caused by humankind.

People do not choose to be gay. When you were reaching puberty, did you sit down one day, and weigh all the evidence, and both sides of the opinion, and then finally say "You know what? I think it would be best if I'm attracted to the opposite sex. So that's what I'll do!"

No. Obviously not. And even the notion is ridiculous, isn't it? You were just quite naturally attracted to the opposite sex, like me, an lots of other people.

Likewise, homosexuals quite automatically, quite naturally have their preference. No one would choose to be gay in a world where homosexuals are so maligned, discriminated against, and abused. You'd have to be pretty crazy, or stupidly brave, or both, to consciously make that choice. Some homosexuals end up killing themselves, because they don't like what they are, they don't like how others see them, and yet they're powerless to change those things.

That is very strong evidence that homosexuality is, in fact (as opposed to opinion) "natural." Exists in nature, not man-made.

Now on the other hand it seems rather obvious that this is not how our species was meant to function. We reproduce sexually, having male and female counterparts. Therefore, this is necessary to perpetuate our species. But who are you to question the mind, or plans of god? Maybe homosexuals are god's clever (and kinder) way to keep the population down a bit?

PS-- @LightOrange Awesome rant in your original post. Really well-said. And yes, the stupid knee-jerk emotion and hypocrisy is mind boggling. That's why sometimes I have to walk away from comment sections on certain sites. Occasionally I don't, though, and I feel compelled to blast them for their stupidity. I'm just glad there's someone out there who sees what I've been seeing.

Again, awesome job. If you listen closely, you can hear my applause.

Two thumbs up for that one. Everyone has the right to express their opinion unless it differs from the homosexual agenda.

Telling a person they are a bigiot or calling them an idiot in no way stops that person from expressing themselves. You can call me anything you like, I can still express my opinion afterward. I am SO sick of this "we have freedom of speech except when we say something bad about _______ " (because it is in no way limited to the gay issue) Just because someone says you are wrong and says something that might hurt your feelings, it in no way stops you from saying whatever you would like back at them. Freedom of speech or expression doesn't mean everyone has to be nice to you, it means everyone can say whatever the hell they want to each other.

That said, your side has no respect at all for the gays. You think of someone as mentally defective and you expect them to be polite when they speak to you? Sorry you bigots aren't going to be treated as if you aren't bigots. But no one is telling you that you can't say the things you want to, just that you're gonna be called out on it. Simple as that, feel free to call my opinion wrong, feel free to say anything is or isn't "natural." But don't act like you are the victims, you are the equivalent of the hold over racists after the 60's. And guess what? Even racists are still free to say whatever they like, doesn't mean black people have to bow their heads and say "yes masta"

Yes people do choose to be gay. If a girl feels what she interprets as an attraction to another girl or a boy has what his mind interprets as an attraction to boys, they are dealing with things they cannot comprehend, confusion and along comes the gay agenda recruiting them.
A person cannot choose their race or sex but they are fully in control of their sexual choices.
To answer your question, yes I chose to follow the natural order and attractions of life and be with females. I have seen guys that I can admit wer handsome guys, that by no means means that I am gay. good grief.

So by your very own logic, you could choose to be gay right now, today. Right?

I don't understand why a CEO of a company would speak publicly on such a topic, but since he did, ridicule of those words will follow and the internet is full of people with opinions and they sure aren't afraid to share them.

Barilla brand pasta is more expensive than the store brand, so that's why I don't buy it. When it's on sale, cheaper than anywhere else, then I'll buy it. I could give a rat's behind about some CEO's opinion on homosexuality.

That's been my point the entire time, what difference does it make what he thinks and believes,,,, has nothing to do whether or not you buy their product,,,,, that should be based on product quality and price and availability, not someone else's opinion on a totally unrelated subject.

So you mean to tell me, that at various points you have had a sexual attraction toward males which you decided to ignore and not act on?

Considering a guy handsome, by the way, is not a sexual attraction. Not the same thing. If you are a 100%, natural heterosexual (or homosexual, I assume) you'll know exactly what I mean here with no room for ambiguity. You don't just look at a woman and say "oh, she's pretty" and then shrug it off and move along. Not if you're a hetero male. That comes with desires of a sexual nature.

So again, just so we're clear-- you mean to tell me that you've felt sexual attraction toward the same sex (meaning a desire to touch them, perform sexual acts, etc, as you would with a female) which you chose to suppress, presumably for moral reasons?

Where in the hell did I ever say or ever insinuate that I have ever had a homosexual attraction ? It has never happened nor have I implied that it did. Get your facts straight.

Then you admit that you are quite naturally heterosexual, and it was not a choice you made.

(Because you can't have that one both ways.)

Thanks for your honest admission.

Wow, you are seriously reaching there. I am attracted to women, but the moment I laid with one I made a conscious choice to do it. It is natural for a man to be attracted to women and women to men, it's in our dna. Let me ask you this. Are serial killers born serial killers ? Are pedophiles born pedophiles ? Are Zoophiles born zoophiles ? People are not born sexual. Sexuality comes on at puberty and anyone that claims that they had true sexual feelings as a young child is full of crap. There are several years that go by before sexuality sets in and that gives plenty of time for things to go awry. For the pedophile things go seriously awry, as with the serial killer and zoophile and homosexual. Name your cliché, overbearing mother figure, absent father figure, abuse, recruitment.
