Syria, Israel, Genie Energy, Cheney, Rothschild, Murdoch and oil in the Golan Heights.

So I was doing a little bit of digging and came across this news item in the UKs The Telegraph.

Israel approves oil drilling in Golan Heights Israel has given permission for an American based energy company to drill for oil in the Golan Heights, a plateau it captured from Syria in 1967.

This bit grabbed my attention

Genie previously announced a strategic advisory board whose members provide strategic direction and council. Its members include former Vice President Dick Cheney, Michael Steinhardt, Jacob Rothschild, and Rupert Murdoch.

I'd like to give you my theory on what this all means but, given the slippery twisting and turning, media misdirections and political games that seem to be designed to keep us (me !) confused, i thought i'd merely share.

I'll probably get to it, but sometimes that can kinda distract from the 'facts' (which i think ive managed to get right)

The other reason i didnt want to give my theory and, i suppose, the real reason for this post is that ... doesnt it seem almost purposefully provocative ? It is such a contentious geographical location and the names involved dont help !

So some of the theories could be seen as almost too obvious. It was very easy to find the information so it's not hidden. Guess it would really wind up the Syrians !

There's been plenty of posts about Israel... loads ! the Murdochs manipulating the media, Dick Cheneys motivations and the Rothschilds desire to control the Syrian banks. There's so much material to chew on there that maybe it's meant as a cluster meme bomb, a diversion,a double bluff, but as long as we are kept guessing or better still, thinking we know ...

Hi Bassago, i had searched but not well enough

I would have still made a different post however as the information in yours was a little misquoted i.e. Dick Cheney is not a shareholder, it's a crucial part of the story that he is not as it is about 'how' manipulations are manifested. I did originally look at Global research ,(the site you referenced) it was the site that brought it to my notice, but i was a bit thrown and suspicious by its weighting so i did my own checking. If i were to say there was a conspiracy of misdirection i'd also have to say that Global Research was involved because it would be just as easy to RESEARCH (that’s me shouting at them) rather than make stuff up and cast even more doubt and confusion over this monstrous situation.

With respect, i'd rather be able to quote your thread as an example of external sites that purposefully or sillilly (if that is indeed a word) distort the available information, for what reason ?

Europe, the US , Russia and China have faked hostility towards each other because they've all got together ands said "We need these resources, we either fight amongst ourselves or realise that they are finite and together we can share them out ... let’s start a memetically engineered war that allows us the resources and our people will benefit from...and they won’t complain. Middle east, Africa, South Africa, Antarctica...

Or maybe people really do believe the ancient biblical texts and they will do anything in their means to fulfil the prophecies.

Or maybe TPTB are too stupid to realise the power of memetic engineering and everything we hear is true.

Well, i thought this was a most interesting subject and, ego's aside, i thought it would generate a bit more discussion. I'm thinking either the title put people off or my perception of what makes an interesting story is way off the mark.

So i'll keep plugging it for a while before i decide that there's nothing to see here.

Has anyone seen Zeitgeist ? Do you recall the slightly plastic feel to it ? As if it's primary purpose was to make you think a certain way rather than educate ?



Is religion really, actually factually calling the shots, or is that just a cover ?

This has an interview with the chief scientist of Genie energy (previously from Shell oil) and a former CIA chief...

But with Rupert Murdoch and Rothschild as shareholders and Dick Cheney on the board of advisors, i dont really trust Genie Power to be what they purport to be. I'm not sure if oil is even involved.



My senses are saying set up, that the Israeli oil story, as it is being told, is a cover for something else.

Or maybe they are trying to convince us that through faith alone, they have discoved Gods prophecy, and then we'll all have to believe.
