US, China, Russia, UK got together in a room. They decided, lets take Syria over completely and we'll divide it up 4 ways. They all agreed.

Carve Syria up into 4 parts = 25% shares each.. US, China, Russia, UK

So that's what we're seeing right now.

Your thoughts?

my thoughts...

what are you even talking about

and I mean that, what on earth are you talking about, what does Syria have to do with carving up a chicken

are you trying to say that China, Russia, USA and UK have all sat down in a room and said "right lads, Syria, 25% of everything... job done"?

Because if so you really dont have the strongest grasp of how international relations between states works even if you can carve a chicken perfectly

Have you bothered reading about what's going on, or did you just jump to a conspiracy conclusion?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Hey, a post is a post right?

Considering that the UK have voted against War with Syria - I can only conclude that you are attention seeking........or just plain stupid.

I think that the very fact that you think the OP is joking tells us everything we need to know.

And if this is a joke then it should be in the joke forum.

Syria isn't the target. No one cares about Syria.

Iran is the target. Everyone except the USA cares about Iranian oil. The USA cares about that oil being pegged to the dollar. As long as Syria stands as an Iranian ally, drastic actions against Iran will meet with too much resistance to pull off the hit without letting too many people know why Iran is being hit. That's the sort of thing that causes revolutions, and revolutions are very bad things if you are the one being revolted against.

Russia wants the USA out of the Middle East, period. They're tired of us manipulating oil prices and interfering in their relations with oil rich nations. China wants Iran's oil for their growing economy, as does India. If we hit Iran, that jeopardizes their position in the world market. So they see clearly what we are up to in Syria, and they don't want this stage one operation to continue.

Because stage two involves some really nasty things.

No.

because that means all the money they have spent on arguing about it was just for vanity purposes. they could have done this much more effectively as a group by doing it quietly.
