Why don't we just wait and see?

That is what I said here.

Until then you don't have proof of anything.

There are other prophecies that have been fulfilled

You are going to bring up the prophecy of Tyre????? Now I know you haven't actually read any scriptures, they said Tyre would be destroyed and NEVER be rebuilt.... Take a look at google maps, Tyre is doing just fine and dandy! DEBUNKED....

eh; Tyre was a Biblical Type for Satan. Bible Scholars will know what Biblical Type means; it is a term of the art in theology along with "ensample." Stuff in the bible tends to happen again and again so you can get the message. e.g; there were five barren women in the bible who had divine intervention to have babies, who were destined for a special purpose by God, who had to have special diets and restrictions observed when they were with child, and the child produced took vows as nazzerites do. Christ being the last one.

Tyre at the time of Christ (IIRC) in actuality was a naturally protected island its inhabitants were mercantile sailors. (they were a bunch of evil bastiges) at the time of Christ one of the inhabitants of the island or it's surrounds; asked Christ to remove a demon possessing her daughter and at first he "refused" because she was not a Jew but he "relented" and went to cast the demon out. the bible says she was a greek or something like that but it is a translational error. not only was she not a Jew but she was probably a kennite or descendant of Cain. The importance of that is that no one; based upon race ethnicity, national origin and so on is forbidden salvation through Christ. When Christ ministered to that woman and her daughter he set in stone that salvation is available for everybody; not just the chosen people.

The king of Tyre is a prophesy of what happens to Satan in the end. Note that he is burnt to ashes and he is a terror no more. the people trod upon his ashes unafraid.

note: he is not tormented (even though there are verses that seem to say just that) in flames forever nor does he even linger for a while. he ceases to be. he perishes. perdidos = "to perish", the son of perdition. he alone is destined to perish. even memory of him is destroyed. he is thrown into the lake of fire and consumed. so if that happens to Satan from going into the fire you can pretty well say the same thing happens to everyone else that gets tossed in the same fire. The King of Tyre prophesy even if some historical event did happen like that is far more important for it's future fulfillment. it also tells you that people in hell perish. they cease to be. God is not a sadist. he does not rejoice in torment of his children and it sucks that many of his children want to see their own sons daughters, mothers, fathers, friends and strangers tormented forever on the porch of heaven. the verses and descriptions of hell are translational problems and ignorance of ancient figures of speech (Hebraisms) such as "the smoke of his burning shall go up forever and ever." Of course this description of Hell as being an eternal torment pit of Sadistic torture and agony served the church to keep the congregants in line so the editors may have been motivated to translate the original manuscripts that way by church authority figures.

When Jesus spoke of hell he used the word gehenom which was an actual place outside of Jerusalem where the refuse of the city trash, dung, offal and corpses were burned; a landfill as it were. it isn't there anymore even though the smoke of its flames was said to go up forever too. occasionally He uses the word Sheol but then Sheol isn't really hell. it's more like a lobby.

John 3:16 says those that believe shall not perish; not those that believe "shall not be thrown on the barbie on the porch and be tortured for ever." Hell does not exist now (lazurus and the rich man (sheol is not hell) ) and after it's purpose is served it will not exist again. God is a consuming fire. consuming.
