I'm sort of new around here hi - p.s I just saw a light in the sky that defied gravity

I wouldn't have believed if it I didn't see it with my own two eyes
It was a bright blue light so bright it was almost blinding
Until It moved I thought it was a star
It jetted at least 40 miles in 2.5 seconds, it was there - and then it was gone
It didn't fall down like an object instead it defied gravity and kind of bunny hopped if that made sense out of sight
It looked like a star but wasn't, was it a demon or a ufo?

Zoom! In the darkness it flew past so fast that it vanished out of sight, I can't even begin to explain how bright it was my eyes still hurt 15 minutes later.

Its midnight and I was smoking a cigarette

P.s I could use some advice on what forums to get into
P.p.s It flew straight not down, it hopped up to speed away
P.p.p.s it was floating in the atmosphere - not in space

Welcome to the club. The one I saw was also blue. It also defied gravity and made impossible maneuvers at impossible speeds.

The only thing you left out was the totally silent part.

At night, on a mountain top, with a group of friends and others parked nearby.

So no, you are not crazy.

Just as another qualifier, it was the most pretty dazzling blue hue I have ever seen. I shall never forget that.

an anomalous light as bright as you claim , SHOULD have been visible over a vast area - any co-obratating reports ?

You saw and "light"...in the sky....defied gravity? Does just a "light"...not a solid object....have gravity to defy????
