Now Beal, who, with a net worth of $8 billion ranks 43 rd on the Forbes list of U.S. billionaires, is offering a $1 million reward to anyone who can solve a math problem - now dubbed the Beal Conjecture - that Beal has been trying to solve since 1993. The long-running reward started at $5,000 in 1997, and bumped up to $100,000 in 2000, where it remained for 13 years. Now the money has hit seven figures.

Well I know that this is beyond the scope of my mathematical skills.
I figured that maybe one of my brothers or sisters on ATS could use the money.
So....can anyone here do this????

OH man .. I was going to say that!

As for the math problem .. I now have dyscalculia (from the sjogrens) so I can't even do the checkbook anymore. Looks like I"m out of the running for the big money. I would have thought that one of the world smarty-pants would have solved it by now.

A random number times X plus a random number times Y equals a random number times Z... Random numbers in 2 dimensions do change 3 dimensions for sure, but there is nothing else that can be said..
