Well that was an emotional night !

Good day friends

*Sip*

The storm is here but not as bad as I was expecting, although the rain is horizontal.

Think I'll borrow Mrs C's car just in case

Lucky you mate...

Yesterday i was up since 4 with high winds... and NO... not those induced by cheap curry and 7 pints of guinness!

Currently in my office and looking at the two trees in front of my house who are bending like i have never seen them bend before!

Extremely high winds started up again at around 5 this morning and getting stronger.

I started an update thread yesterday including France but it was wiped off the face of the earth... i guess France is not as important as the rest of the world... that really piddles me off! (Hope you read this TTT?)

I have a colleague whos BF took the Ferry over to the UK yesterday and were stuck in the channel as they could not dock in Dover and had to wait over 2 hours... apparently the approach was not nice!... But i think that that is nothing compared to today (Already seen 3 fire engines flying past my house since 7 this morning which is damned rare in my neck of the woods!)

Take care down in the South of the UK folks we are in for a ride on our tiny continent.

Kindest respects

Rodinus

Dave you can upload the pics directly to your ATS Uploads. It's really easy, especially if they are already on your computer.

Thank you for the info, I didn't realise that you could use photo's uploaded to ATS. I have been adding pic's the old skool way via imageshack. Nobody bloody told me did they??????????

For your brains and info I give you cake......

Cake.......

And more Cake...

Guten Morgen Cody,

Had rain here, lots of it during the night, but where are all the hurricane type winds they were going on about? Had none of them here, well my wheelie bin is still in the drive-way....

Stuck my bin out last night for the bin men to empty it last night.

Found it about about 500 metres down the road and it had puked its guts out all over the neigbours garden... he was not happy and even complained to the town hall (have spent the last hour showing him how to fill a dustbin)... but then again, he would not be happy as he is from Paris and only comes to live in his house in the countryside every 3 months... blummin would be yuppy knobhead!

Kindest respects

Rodinus

Well I will never believe the cooking part, but the girl definitely can hang in a storm! She has ridden out several direct hits by hurricanes without batting an eye and is a survivalist through and through- you KNOW mama made sure of that!

You've never had my roast rib of beef with Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings.

But hopefully one day,the man willing, you will

Us Brits are messing around with the idea of an ATS meet up next year.

Seems pretty popular

Started at 5am this morning and finished my final adventure around 5pm...With the safe delivery of the most precious of cargo. A 6 year old called Louise!...
