Okay, I went in and downloaded Codec pack, and now my videos are working.

Good Grief!!! Computers are such a headache!!!!

I'm happy I'm not a computer tech. I was thinking about going for that before I decided on my current job path.

ETA: Of course, if I had studied how to do all this stuff, it probably wouldn't be a headache, right?

It's like trying to put a motor together without an instruction manual!!

As an IT expert and security analyst I cannot emphasize enough how much you need to STOP using Internet Explorer permanently, and forward this information to anyone who does.

Internet Explorer 0-day attacks on US nuke workers hit 9 other sites

That was IE8 which, the current browser is IE10.

Microsoft confirmed the remote code-execution vulnerability on Friday night. Versions 6, 7, 9, and 10 of the browser are immune to these attacks, so anyone who can upgrade to one of the latest two versions should do so immediately or switch to a different browser. For anyone who absolutely can not move away from IE 8

If you absolutely HAVE to use Internet Explorer(some government/educational facilities mandate the use of IE which is ass-backwards), use it ONLY in these situations.

It doesn't matter what browser government facilities use, hackers will find a way to target them.
