I did a tarot reading on myself a year or so ago. The reading is just now becoming true. There is something to coincidence.

A good psychic:

1. Knows how to read body language.
2. Uses psychology to get information from you and relay it back without your realizing it.
3. Tells you what you want to hear from your reactions through your conversations with the psychic.
4. Provides generalized predictions which can be positive or negative depending on what you are expecting.

There may be true psychics out there but I have seen none that would make me a believer.

Over the years, just out of curiosity, I've talked to many 'psychics'.
NONE of them ever got anything right. They would fish for hints, saying a letter and asking: "is there anyone important who's name begins with that" ? Trying to do a cold reading by getting clues I didn't know I was giving. I've been told by quite a few people that I'm hard to 'read'. My facial expressions do not give me away. Some say I have a perfect 'poker face' and by not giving them anything to read, I foiled their scheme. I've been told by a person on here that because of skepticism, they don't do readings anymore. So, if you have to believe in them before they can work, you're just paying them for the privilege of fooling yourself. I have a standing challenge to any psychic, Tell me something about myself that no one else could know just by looking up public information. Private message me and if they're right, I'll scream it from the rooftops and declare them genuine. I'm still waiting.

I hear this a lot, everyone wants people to prove it to them, for them....give me a reading and show me....that kind of stuff. Won't believe it unless it happens to you....which I can understand, I feel the same way about lots of things.

Or better yet, if you REALLY want to know, learn to do it for yourself. We all got it, but most don't ever try to use it.

To be honest, I think there are people out there with this gift. But, I also think there are maybe only a hand full in the entire world. The rest are just scam artists or have fooled themselves into believing they have some "talent", mostly because they want to think of themselves as special in some way.

I have had two Psychic readings and both were very enjoyable. I agree coincidence is a crazy thing but numericaly the more coincidences the more it become likely that it isn't coincidence.

There is no such thing as coincidence; but I like the message in what you said.

I have a friend that is a medium. not a physic , but a medium. He simply tells me what the spirits tell him. I have never given him a dime and he never asks. He says that one who is truly gifted and blessed will not ask for money. He is always scary dead on. He is also autistic which I believe somehow encourages his gift.
Knowing him, I believe there are a few special gifted people. But I also believe some 'fake' it just for the money. Humans can be very gullible.
