Check your facts before you bash us again. Only 51% of people voted for Bush in the popular vote, and also most of the people in America at least show respect for him. You really have no knowledge of the reasons why Bush or their cabinet made those decisions on foreign policy, and for the most part they were made based upon intelligence reports which were classified by the CIA. Let the IGNORANCE BE DENIED. BTW, I was for the democrats in the election but they lost,
. As much as I hate Republicans in America, I hate Europeans who hate the fact that Bush won even worse, since they are just IGNORANT.

That's three doses of hate to go with two doses of ignorance.

Glad I can't get that kind of hate worked up!

Actually, I find many Europeans on board at ATS to be globally aware and to take a strong and well-founded interest in the domestic and foreign affairs of the US. I enjoy dialogue with them as much as American members with the same interests.

I'm democratic, so I'll make this statement.
Basically I know for a fact that Europeans are extremely biased against America for having people who voted for Bush. First of all, there was a very close margin of victory, so it would not be correct to hate America for voting for him, and secondly, yes we do know that there wasn't a real reason for going into Iraq; only Bush supporters agree with him on that.

This is what I don't understand....why do you "hate" Republicans?

I don't "hate" democrats"..I disagree with the current form of their party, and their leaders, but i don't "hate" it or them.

Is anyone in your family conservative? do you hate them?

ignorance is as ignorance does.

Hmm... okay maybe my statement was incorrect. I was just basing my opinion on the forum I just went to, which was gamefaqs.com and tons of the Europeans there were bashing Bush without backing themselves up with examples; I didn't mean to bash all Europeans.

Well, yes actually I was only bashing the Europeans who were bashing all of America; whereas they should only be bashing 50% of the country (see popular vote). Are you saying it's wrong for hating a person who calls all Americans idiots only whereas 50% of the people voted for Bush?

Honestly guys, do you need to bash people just because they don't agree with you? Everyone is entitled to their opinions, accept that, move along, and PLEASE keep it civil.

Let me say this one more time.

Votes for Bush = 59,283,865

People in America = 294,679,444

That's roughly 20.1% of the US population voted for Bush. That is officially pathetic, and does not in any way represent America.

So please, let's lay off the "Half of America voted for..." Bull#.

That's all it is.

OK 20% voted for Kerry, + 21% voted for Bush = 40%

Of the 60% who didn't vote some would be underage, some criminals, so they are forgiven, but what about the rest?
A non vote is also a vote for the status Quo = Bush. Out of the 60% who didn't vote, I imagine 20% (of the total) COULD have voted. Can we abuse the non voters as "stupid"?

That's one of the problems with the human race.... I don't think we've evolved in this area in the slightest since we were monkey's.
