I have a relative in Cambridge..I called and texted, no answer. Probably on floor praying.

1st suspect being transported to Beth Israel Hospital now. (Mass State Police Scanner)
Additional units being told to escort the ambulance to the hospital to prevent another incident.

It sounds like they were throwing stuff from the window of a vehicle.

These guys were armed with automatic weapons and grenades.. This sounds like a serious attack on American Soil.. If they aren't the bombing suspects I think we've awoken some "terrorist cells" within the US.

Just heard something about the FBI on the scanner feed.

2nd suspect on the run in an SUV
They were in another vehicle earlier and throwing IED's out the windows @ police...sounds like these suspects could be the marathon bombers...?

it seems like a lot of the officers are confused, I think something weird is going on.

This sounds like something out of those Grand Theft Auto video games.

I am completely AMAZED that I cannot find this being reported and reported and reported on the MSM...I've checked every single station, CNN, FOX you name it. All I'm seeing are interviews and reports on the Marathon Bombings and the Plant Explosion in TX....

The media is usually right on top of these events, MISREPRESENTING the facts and reporting everything incorrectly as fast as humanly possible and for whatever reason, THIS is completely being ignored. To be honest if it weren't for being on ATS right now, I would have absolutely no idea what was going on. Obviously this isn't just your everyday shooting or carjacking. WTH

Okay, as I was posting CNN started a BREAKING NEWS report:
The reporter there on the scene seems completely unsure of what is going on. He is only saying that there is a massive presence of police vehicles and then they switched off to a reporter at the scene where the initial shooting happeened. This reporter states that NOTHING is going on there, and that they were the only media at that location. Obviously there are other scenes from what she says and then a guy on "school st" is being forced to get on the floor of his home because there are a group of officers on foot pointing weapons at HIS home. He states cell phones are being ordered OFF due to undetonated explosives in the area... this is ridiculous!!!! Could a cell phone from anyone in the area possibly set of an explosive device?

What about the police operator telling them all to retreat? Did anyone catch that? Why would they do that after putting down the first suspect? Afraid of IED or something like that?

police scanner is eerily quiet. Seems that the feds are probably gonna take over & we wont be getting much info worth any value
