So it's the luck of the draw or a miracle that Jesus is the one still remembered.
It is no miracle. Hundreds of people from the early part of the first century allege that they saw the man after He was crucified and made it their
mission to see His name and gospel preached. It's a testament to grassroots campaigning and also His words, or that is, whoever it was that was
recorded in the Gospels have been a source of inspiration to millions of people for most of 2000 years. As an ancient, it's no more miraculous to
have His records than it is to have those of Plato, Socrates, Homer, Josephus, or anyone else for that matter.
