could you post screen shots rather then us having to go do all the work.. thats the point of making a thread.

Is it really that hard to copy and paste some coordinates into Google Maps?

No but you just get a map its not zoomed in on what you want to see, I put in the coordinates and I get a map but how am I supposed to know what to look at?

I guess the OP could have at least told us what to look for, as he couldn't get Screenshots to work. But, it's not hard to zoom in and out to find something out of the ordinary.

That sounds pretty dumb to have unfinished wood on water, or even outdoors. Every "dock" I have ever been on has been concrete(the wharfs where people park their boats here) or some kind of fiberglass(or plastic, not sure exactly). Being a finish carpenter for houses, unfinished wood is never recommended for anything really lol.

Did it occur to anyone that google adds weird stuff to see how many people are finding them an tweeting/posting?

Even google-geeks must get bored!

If it were a bug, would it not show up inside the tunnel?

You don't need a link, just some critical thinking.. (I haven't seen the article as well)

red circle: a couple of kids sitting on a park bench just 150 feet away with a clear line of sight.

blue circle: a couple on a bike only 100 feet away with also a clear line of sight

green circle: somebody sitting in the grass near the dock

If that guy was dragging a dead body he sure wasn't going for inconspicuous.

Peace

It's a reflection in the cars windsheild. The image is in the same location in each photo, disappears when the car goes into the tunnel and re-appears when it exits back into the sunlight.

Explain to me how they are doing a 360 view of the sky from their windshield??

when they have camera's on the roof of the Google car. The camera's are in a dome bubble.

It is following them around the hole length of the highway.
on both sides. They done a drive on both sides of the highway.

I've looked at all the locations, and in most of them I don't see anything. What am I missing? I'm curious about the one off the coast of Oman, but I only see water. The one in Belarus just becomes more blurry as you zoom in. Also, for these, I can't get the street view option to work.

Re the one in Switzerland, I tried it three times, but I never saw that image.

Depending on your trust levels the short and original URLs to the places are below (will have to quote and then copy/paste for the original urls as they are borked)

That aerial image in Switzerland is pretty freakin weird. It is not something stuck to the lens, otherwise, it would show up in every shot, regardless of where the camera was pointed. It appears to remain in the same place relative to the surroundings.

That said, it might not necessarily be paranormal in nature. In fact, I am going with the idea of Google employees/developers inserting such images as a sort of "Easter egg". (Anyone who plays video games know this is a common thing for developers to do, for fun). After seeing a couple other images (like the car parked on the side of a building), that seems to be the most likely answer. Oddities and weird things for map hunters to find and go WTF?!?!?!?1

Thanks aivlas and treached1. I hope to see more things like this.

I was just disappointed as I was so psyched up to see some really cool things.
