I think when the previous poster said Darker, they also meant with the red color as well.

Interesting..... Looks either unfinished or ancient wood to me. What do I know though, I only do hardwood floors, decks and porches among other things for a living. Perhaps docks are different, but I would not get paid if the wood I did changed colors when wet lol.

Wood doesn't have to be that ancient to absorb water and show a colour difference, especially if sitting directly in harsh sun every day.

I used to refinish my dads deck about every year or two, usually when I started noticing a significant colour difference when wet, generally I'd start noticing the weathering after about 9 months.

That looks like a wet red-wood dock to me.
Cheers

No I meant the wood in the diver picture looks pretty old, grey usually means weathered for a while, at least on decks and siding. The one from google looks pretty new and fancy to my eyes.

And... whatever it is always stays in front of you as you use google to move down the street. It only disappears once you get to the tunnel.

And reapears at the end of the tunnel :

47.110579, 9.227568

It looks like this picture isnt moving. It appears to be at same place at same angle
like an reflection to the camera lens.
If you look at the clouds, they are changed.

A Dutch paper ran a story on the "body" on the decking (can't find it
) but they said it's a dog from what I can remember. Love the fact the MSM ran it with no fact checking what so ever, good work journalists.

It's a reflection in the cars windsheild. The image is in the same location in each photo, disappears when the car goes into the tunnel and re-appears when it exits back into the sunlight.

This is after the tunnel. also it is cloudy you would not get it that much. Also go past it and its the same.

Link is broken.
I thought the same thing. Wouldn't be a reflection if it's that cloudy, and if you turn and look at it from the other side it's there, but on the opposite side of the road.

I have never seen a dock that is finished. They are all natural wood at least all the docks I've ever been on. I have lived my whole life within a few miles of the Atlantic ocean so I know docks.
