My wife went on and on about how she wanted a dishwasher.

So I went on our version of e-bay and found a dishwasher for £16.in the next town.

I went and got it, brought it home,

Put it in the kitchen.

Now she complains that it's always in the way.

Now she wants to put it back on ebay for £15.

I like the extra work/storage area. I think it adds to the kitchen.

Dude. She wants to do the dishes with you. Experience the home together. Done that. It's pretty cool.

Well, I'm an optimist.

That's very kind of you, but I do the dishes anyway.

I'm an optimist too

You're lucky.

When I wanted a dish washer, I had to marry her first.

Peace

....maybe more than a one liner that does nothing to enhance the discussion........no matter how banal.

Oh, and thank you for commenting

what do you mean "water hook ups"?

She says she has to slide past it when she wants to wash the clothes.

The pipes. The means of transporting water to and from the washer.

I love the wisdom of it all.

It's almost poetic...

Wait.... when you said you put it in the kitchen, I assumed you installed it. Do you mean you just have a dishwasher sitting there? LOL I feel like I'm being trolled.
