Gotta love a good bit of pack mentality.....seem's as the OP is about the disgust at that kind of behaviour the irony isn't lost on me ........

It is very interesting to see the course this thread seem to have taken in the last few pages.

I would like to remind members this is about the disgusting celebrations of Thatcher’s death, it is not about Guy Fawkes or the IRA. To attempt to make it about something other than Thatcher’s death is only avoid the topic at hand because those who are celebrating know that regardless of their motivation we live in a society were disrespect to the dead has always been a social taboo. Everyone knows it is wrong to disrespect the dead just like we all know not to walk up to strangers in the street and slap them on the face, its social etiquette, something few of my fellow members appear to be lacking.

Some of the arguments I am seeing in this thread are quite frankly stupid and utterly pointless.

I think it goes to show how weak some peoples arguments have become that they are saying “ohhh so you have a problem with us celebrating thatcher’s death, well I bet you celebrate November 5th”. Seriously if you can’t see what a stupid argument that is then I think you need to get away from ATS and into a school for a few years.

I'm sorry OtherSide it was disrespectful of me to burst in like that on the other page, i hang my head in shame.

I really liked Mrs T she was a wonderful woman and very very smart i still remember her saying that famous quote "this lady is not for turning" it was like Elizabeth 1 when she was quoted "the body of a woman but a heart of a King".

Sorry again for the childish behaviour on page 16 again, like you some things here on ATS have got to me over this past few days about Mrs T, and i have a habit of jumping in when i think someone is being bullied by trolls which sometimes gets me into bother, at 51 i should no better.

I hope i am forgiven!

You have summed up your childish behavior. You make judgements on people you don't know.

Well done

Pack mentality? It's only me and alldaylong...what a pack....about you!

I didn't wish her dead, please post a comment where I said that I did.

Please post an apology if you cannot find one.

I've tried to post comments where I didn't like her government ( NOT HER LIFE).

There is a diference.

Like wise. I have never wished the woman dead. I just believe her policies on the whole dived the country like no other Prime Minister has done so. Millions of UK citizens share the same opinion.

I was just merely making an observation and general comment...I didn't get personal and I have no need or desire to attack anyone...in a pack or otherwise. Beside's....I never did look good in hat's.....

If I am honest , i suspect the motivation for this thread to be a nothing more than
a "star Hunt" , jumping on the high moral ground. I don;t buy your concern.

The woman was pig!

Ah, I get it now.

You are being ironic, silly me.

I think there is you, ballymoney ( who by self admission never read the post) and Helen who are now shouting me down.

Who's the pack now?

I did read the thread when it was started a few days ago so don't start guessing at stuff, i think your a trumped up little troll who should stay on the topic of Mrs T and stop trying to derail the thread again as it is disrespectful to the OP, that is why i said sorry to the OP as it went way of topic.
