Optimistic much? When SS brownshirts swarm on singled out individual - where would you be with your deer rifle and camo pants? They certainly wouldn't advertize their arrival in advance.

Uh, yeah. We are talking about the Federal Government coming after sheriffs who are upholding the Constitution.
They will be able to call on millions of us to assist them as needed, and we will not be needing our "deer rifles" LOL.

My brother is a federal marshal in Colorado.

His idea of gun control is using two hands.

Period.

Agreed. 100% Agreed. These aren't goons or idiots with a tin badge and a shiny new gun. The Secret Service doesn't even take applications unless you already stand in the top % for the best of the best to their criteria. SUPER- Alpha type Captain America types.... Politicians aren't Law Enforcement and even Holder and Janet are nothing but Politicians.

It wouldn't shock me if the agents went along with this, right up to the go time of the raid.....to do something rather rash and totally unexpected when they were 100% certain beyond all possible question that it was really happening.

@ General topic

These guys have families too. They live here too...and before now, the S.S. have represented the very cream of the Federal Crop. I don't know about the Colombia stuff or the security screw ups. That gives me a moment of pause. However, this is NOT the ATF. Those cowboys worry me because their track record shows exceptionally BAD judgement.

We'll see what happens when they actually go to remove the first duly elected Sheriff in a state where he IS doing the will of the people who elected him to the post. ........and I feel real sorry for the Feds if that first one happens to be Wyoming or Montana in particular. We'll just rename the Sheriff's Department Fort Sumter and make it a memorial someday.

Wouldn't this supposed law also cover governors, Congressmen & Senator's?

And someone mentioned 'deer guns'...most modern high power hunting rifles and ammo make easy work of body armor. Just saying...

Sorry, but they can't do that.

And even if they somehow weasel this into effect, sheriffs will STILL refuse to enforce unconstituional gun laws.

A SECRET SERVICE AGENT IS A PERSON WHO IS EMPLOYED BY 1 ASSIGNED TO THE UNITED STATES 2 SECRET SERVICE, EMPOWERED TO EFFECT AN ARREST WITH OR WITHOUT 3 A WARRANT FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE UNITED STATES CODE, AND 4 AUTHORIZED TO CARRY A FIREARM AND USE DEADLY FORCE IN THE 5 PERFORMANCE OF HIS OR HER DUTIES AS A FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT 6 OFFICER.

Empowered to effect an arrest with or without a warrant for violations of the united states code.

Plus if they see an offense, they can arrest as well. So yeah, they can follow the sheriff around and observe them refusing to obey gun control laws, and then not only arrest them, but use deadly force.

They find it necessary to allow federal agents to assume the role of peace officers while in their state? Necessary?

And yet, in the face of this kind of reality, the government denies it is seeking to create a police state and those who are politically bound to the current administration, deny the obvious in the name of their brand loyalty.

While the government and its pet media continue to paint those who would stand against such actions as being anything from white supremacists to gun-laden survivalist nuts, the majority continues to ignore the obvious while that fully owned media continues to allow it to happen without speaking a word.

Because people who buy into this crap either are to lazy to read the bills or are nuts. Your reality is all made up by people on the internet and you swallow it up without even wondering if any of it is legit. The sad part is, that it only a couple of mins to confirm the OPs story was complete bunk and yet nobody bothered to look into it. And you wonder why people do not take any of this seriously.

Hitler who was also progressive filth slowly changed the laws over time to build a framework. This is what we are seeing today. If it walks like a duck..........

Thankfully for TPTB the good people of the US are apathetic and lazy of mind. They can pretty much do whatever they want as long as the guy you backed is in power.

Operational structure Sworn members 4,400 Agency executive Julia Pierson[2], Director Parent agency United States Department of Homeland Security Field offices 136
did they hire tens of thousands in the past months because otherwise i find it hard to belive that 4,400 of anything will be able to enforce gun laws in a state the size of texas let alone combating multiple states they dont currently have the man power

en.wikipedia.org... LA county sheriffs for example have numbers in excess of 16,000 and sheriffs have two other key provisions with their titles they are elected unlike most law enforcement and they can deputize citizens to help them out if necessary (sheriffs posse) and of further note sheriffs also exclusively(i believe) guard prisons atleast the state owned ones. in one county (harris) of texas they have 2,537 sheriffs and that is over half the amount of secret service in the country.

en.wikipedia.org... while very few in number their history and status in Texas this agency could be very effective at swinging public opinion.

and if he has to send SS squads out to arrest these sheriffs who will do protection duties and whatnot? the SS dose not have the man power to do such things

lol, yeah, wouldn't it be great if the sheriffs pulled the gun registries of every single gun owner and sent them all a letter that they are now deputies, like it or not.

300,000 here, 200,000 over there, multiple 50,000 pockets, yippee.

I love it how when you catch them setting up the legal trap in advance, the defenders come out of the woodwork to try and make you look like a kook.
SOS. Yawn.

That's partially correct. The mistake is in the legal term 'law'. This is not "Law" which is defined as Common Law. It is legally "By-Law" of the CORPORATION FOR PROFIT "UNITED STATES". This is what all the constitutionalists are screaming about. The constitution is a charter of incorporation. We are no longer under U.S. corp, we are now under the FEDERAL Corporation. U.S. corp was closed by exec order, and is reopened but as a 'state'. Under the SEC it is listed right under "Texas". www.sec.gov...

These corporate by-laws were under bona fide law, that they can not write a by-law in place that breached the common law, or charter law. When it does so, that by-law is unenforceable and against the bona fide law. These laws were removed from public view, but still are in statue law and enforceable. Here is one of them, pulled out of hiding and placed back into public view. They still haven't done that for the McQuade bill against company store systems - which is what you are in.

"The Dick Act of 1902.
Truth or Fiction and Fact Check are silent on this as of 2:27 PM CST Feb. 23, 2013
Snopes, of course, tries to weasel out of the truth. Go here to find the truth as it is written in law: "

You may be correct. It is the Roman Pontiff that issues the divine rights and powers to the corporations who are owned by the "degrees" & "lines" (canon 108) of the Family. I have found that the D.H.S. is issued Latin claims of divine powers and it is also Chinese owned. The D.ragon H.u(gga) S.erpent family. QE is on the front of their new coin, and on the back is SET the serpent. The covens transferred control from Elizabeth, who created the money system, to the Chinese branch of the family. They (C.A.) are listed as bona fide combatants for the other side of the war..."the enemy" of Man..in the 1917 geneva convention.

Right now the SS has ability to assist local law enforcement. [color=#fe0000]If a SS agent is in a small town looking into counterfit bills and a shoot out starts at the local Sheriff can not ask the SS agent for help. If your getting beat to death in the street the SS agent can call the cops but not make an arrest. And yes if you are breaking a federal law in front of one them they do not need to go get warrant to arrest you, just like any law officer. The law is very clear that any arrest made as a peace officer is to be handed over to locals. The Secret Service has a very limited mission and very limited juristiction. This law allows them to give some limited support to local law enforcement instead of just saying sorry not allowed.

Not true, pal.

What legal authority and powers do Secret Service agents have?

Under Title 18, Section 3056, of the United States Code, agents and officers of the United States Secret Service can:

Carry firearms
Execute warrants issued under the laws of the United States
[color=#01fefe]]Make arrests without warrants for any offense against the United States committed in their presence, or for any felony recognizable under the laws of the United States if they have reasonable grounds to believe that the person to be arrested has committed such felony
Offer and pay rewards for services and information leading to the apprehension of persons involved in the violation of the law that the Secret Service is authorized to enforce
Investigate fraud in connection with identification documents, fraudulent commerce, fictitious instruments and foreign securities and
Perform other functions and duties authorized by law
The Secret Service works closely with the United States Attorney's Office in both protective and investigative matters.
