But you don't understand. Normally, ATS is the first place I come to when big news is announced.

At that time, massive things were happening - Obama's talk on guns, "loud" actions and even worse words from North Korea, Israel squabbling with Palestine and warning Syria and Lebanon, Israel's big "find" in offshore gas etc, but especially the North Korea situation.

So people always come to ATS to talk about the current big things happening and the site just went down right about the time that MSM announced them, hence why it was so disappointing to see ATS down at the exact same time.

The truth be told, my crying like Honey BooBoo when the Hostess snacky cakes run out isn't really the most emotional and potentially embarrassing thing that happened today...

Both daryllyn and Destiny had their moments - but I figure I'll wait for ten or fifteen minutes before sharing the details, just to give them a chance to say they would prefer I not.

Well I am just glad it is back up and running, thanks SO I wwas curious as to the cause.

I believe as has been mentioned, it would take more than a few disgruntled types.

We will see what transpires though.

ATS went down twice for me today. First at around 1pm EST then again around 7pm EST. I was able to log on around an hour ago.

It is very comforting to be back on ATS. I never realized just how much it means to me until I could not use anymore. We are very lucky to belong to this website. I big thanks to the owners great job getting it back up.

I could not connect as well , Funny because today the ING bank in my country had also Technical issues and wrong money was wired to the wrong accounts , people went from broke to being rich in seconds

But something is building up ... i am normally not a doom porn boy , and i dont care about doom because there is no way i can change anything , but i feel like i am ready for something , probably a Military conflict in Azia.

And normally i am not a hateful person but this kim jong un... he really wants to bomb Seoul ?? it has around 24 miljon residents .

i thought my internet got cut off because i haven't paid the bill until I check fox news. all thought the web browser on the computer was down, surprisingly my mobile phone ats was working perfectly. i guess they're weren't that smart.

Well, all I can say to the attackers is thanks alot guys. You really don't know how much some of us rely on ATS to get us through the day.

Left the house for work with my pants on backwards, shoes untied. The wife found me wandering around in an alley digging through trash piles after she was alerted that I was several hours late for work. It really was quite sad, so I'm told. I can't seem to remember any of it to tell you the truth.

If an administrator of ATS is interested into looking more into this, there is a conversation on GLP right now where the administrator talks about Bill. Since I think directly linking to GLP is not allowed, the thread number is 2189848. The first couple of pages should give you some information. Apparently, GLP's administrator was aware of some comments made by an administrator here about how ATS is built better to withstand DoS attacks than GLP.

I heard the opposite from nexus,but I could be wrong.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that that other place was spooksville from head to toe.

Or it might be that I have a huge axe to grind since the only hardcore virus I've ever gotten on this laptop came from ol' glp. Go there if you like, it is entertaining at the least, but be warned. And never, NEVER type in the phrase tavistock if you wanna continue to visit the sight.

Judging by how the administrator of GLP calls him Bill rather than his ATS username suggest that they might have a long history. Both ATS and GLP were created in the same year (not sure which one was first), and each board has very different styles. ATS looks more modern, is more refined, and has better information. GLP looks like it's still in the 90s, and it has a lot of profanity and dancing bananas, but you can post without registering, so the majority of the time, GLP gets information before ATS. However, 10 posts on ATS can easily be more valuable than 200 posts of people spamming emoticons and "DOOM!", so I prefer ATS by far.

If these people spamming DoS attacks have their way, neither ATS nor GLP will exist anymore.

I dislike glp very much.
It is the other places that you are not aware of .
A little freedom of speech goes along ways.

I'm so happy ATS is back!!!! What a huge sigh of relief!
I was seriously jonesing for this site today especially in light of NK's announcement(s).
I learn so much from this site and value the exchange here greatly.

I was able to get on about a 1/2 hour ago for the first time since it went down.
12 hours without ATS is 12 hours too long!

Thank you to the ATS staff/techies for getting this website back up!!!

I have my own little niche of sites as I'm sure others do as well. However, ATS and GLP are two of the top conspiracy sites out there on the net. If the elite were planning on doing something quickly and wanted to restrict the flow of information as much as possible, taking down the top conspiracy sites would be beneficial to them. Sure, there will be groups on the Internet still be talking, but they will all be scattered, and with enough disinfo agents spreading false information everywhere, it will be hard to know what is really going on until enough time has passed. If the elite act quickly, they won't need a lot of time, and by the time everybody finds out, it will already be too late.

I was missing the site earlier and am glad that it is back!

Being much more of a reader, but not so much a poster here, I had decided recently to make more of an effort to get to know my fellow ATS'ers and then the site went down today and I was seriously regretting not having met more people sooner. The withdrawals and separation anxiety were horrible.

Thanks to SO and staff for working so hard to get the site back up!
